II know why the piston bridge didn't go back. If what you say is true, pistons cant be pushed or pulled if extended. Theother pistons are extened but when you stop the redstone, the timing deactivates the torches is the same order that they turn on. Hence the first piston couldnt pull the other back. that is how I see it. it could be soultion or it might not. Just giving my input.

Hey sparklez, do you think you can make a sticky piston name sign thing? Its where theres just a wall, and using sticky pistons, it pushes out certain blocks that spell a word. I was trying to make one like 5 mins ago, but the lever wasnt working, even though i had all the sticky pistons needed popping out. They just werent retracting.

To retract the bridge put a normal piston at the so it's extended with room for one block in front and then place another normal piston on another circuit that pushes the stickys back. N N - - - - - - N being normal and the dashes the bridge

You should make a self-repairing bridge that has a switch that activates a sticky piston with obsideon attached so that you can stop the making process in case you wanted to keep people out.

I go the piston bridge to work by having the redstone that extends the bridge on one side and the mirror to retract on the other

Hey, i made a better lightswitch :D basically, you leave the glowstone allone, but 1 block above where the dirt block was. then when the piston retracts, the block is pulled, revealing a blowstone block :D

Unfortunately, The sticky piston used in the 1.7 update means you need slimeballs, this means you need to go to the ends of the earth to get a sticky piston. or just use and invedit
