  • 4:34, sends a shiver

  • damn how good was this band!

  • This original lineup : Liam, Noel, Alan, Bonehead and Guigsy. This was the best lineup of the band!

  • Forever G-MEX...

  • EPIC

  • Love Liam's face at 4:35 . He knows we're about to hear what can only be described as Godlike noise

  • .............beautiful.....................

  • Be Here Now was a commercial failure, sure it was overblown, completely coked out, and in some cases lyrical trash.... But isn't most real Rock N Roll like that?

  • Noel is so cute here!

    -0:08, Rock 'n roll face

    -0:55, CUTE

    -3:30, Again very cute :)

    -3:50, I call that, passion!

-5:29, Yeah Noel, we know what you mean!

-5:44, Great man, the reason why i love Noel, his face expressions!

-5:47, Itchy on the head :)

-6:12, Give it all you've got.

  • Perfect Coke Song!

  • i like certain bands for different reasons, Kasabian for their perfect production and crazy songs, arctic monkeys for their style and lyrics, but with oasis its just the perfect package for me, perfect guitar, perfects singing, just perfect

  • If they ever come back together, and start playing the chord progression acoustically, everyone's going to yell Wonderwall. But true fans are going to yell 'D'you know what I mean?'!

  • It got bad reviews cause the genius him self knocked it lol :P

  • way better than wonderwall, this one has anger in it and i like a bit of that :)

  • At there prime! best band ever

  • They ripped thier own song. Wonderwall Loren to the chords

  • why does this album got bad reviews??.....and people calling it underrated...it sold fucking 7 million copies!!!!

  • liam's voice so and so

  • not as good as when we saw the happy mondays at the g-mex in 1990!

  • Fuck.. Since I got into Be Here Now Ive always liked this tune. but I never thought there would be some point in lyrics.. Now I listened those Im starting to see the light of it.

  • this song is about his dad

  • underated

  • This is Oasis at their best live I think. Theres something about the sound here they just cant seem to recapture anymore. Guigsy, bonehead and Alan White added so much more than they were given credit for.

  • I would go as far as to say around this time 97, was the best period of my life to date. Care free, great music, good times.

  • this song is top 3 oasis of all time for me.its out of this world,i love at 4.34 where liam closes his eyes and floats away coz he knows whats coming up....24 seconds of what music is about.best band ever, honest music

  • yeah yeah ok

  • @Philbo69 i think that this tune isnt even one of there best but live its amazing

  • @Philbo69 One of the finest comments I've read on an Oasis vid mate.

  • Oasis is one of the Greatest Rock Band Ever!!

  • 130 % !

  • best version of this ever

  • see also superdry 2002, sounds amazing too

  • love the be here now album, and for me, this is the standout song

  • @MrOasis93

    AMAZING ALBUM

  • "Coming in a mess, going out in style"

    What a lyric!

  • Adoro essa música.

Ao contrário de muitos, adoro Be Here Now.

  • what is the meaning behind the lyric "i met my maker, i made him cry" someone please tell me. i understand the rest of it but not that

  • i reckon it must mean somethin to do with his dad or sumfin like that, makin him cry or even a boss/grim reaper haha. just pure guess work tho

  • @TheBlackDelorian

Most of the lyrics here are about the Gallagher's father, blood on the tracks and it must be mine and coming in a mess going out in style are reference, to him being a drunken alcoholic who went awol for days at a time then use to come home pissed out of his head and beat up Noel & Liam (plus their other brother Paul)

Noel has never admitted to the lyrics being about this but that's what I think he is referring to.

  • @Crab1943 "Blood on the Tracks" is a Dylan album coming in a mess going out in style, is about them beign poor and then ritch

  • @Crab1943 I heard it 'Coming in a mess going out in style' is a reference Noel made about the whole bands rise to fame, rough mancunians becoming rich and godly XD

  • When you "meet your maker" it means you've met someone who will beat you at what you think you're best at. So, if you get too big for your boots someone might say "you'll meet your maker soon".

What Noel's saying is he met his "maker" but beat him instead of his maker beating him. I think it's a cool lyric, like most of them in this song

  • yeah its top that

  • meet your maker means dying. To meet God.

  • i rather would say father...makes more sense

  • can't believe noel doesnt like be here now

    top album

    best 3 albums

    1)DM

    2)morning glory

    3) be here now

  • I agree, man...a lot of people doesn't like Be here now, but for me they are very stupids, they not really like Oasis!Be here now is a fuckin' great album, and that's all!

  • in my opinion, i think the reason noel doesnt like be here now because it represents a dark time for the Band. It was a time filled with drug use and fights amongst the band.

  • If you don't like be here know ... you are a fucking knob! ... except for Noel of course! ;-)

  • fuckin top!

  • I met my maker and made him cry! What a fucking line and song!

  • a bit wonderwall ...........

  • "Get up off the floor and believe in life" What a lyric. Pure genius.

  • no one's gonna ever ask you twice!

  • haha wreeecked!! fuckin wicked no music like this anywhere anymore an probably never will be ever again........fucking geezers in my opinion!!..........

  • what a voice! Such a pleasure listen to his voice!

  • seriously, how on earth could liam be singing "i ain't good looking"? great song even if it does sound like wonderwall

  • How could such a lazy piece of songwriting (chords of wonderwall) be so damn good?

  • @ ellandro - dont confuse writing music and writing songs. Different games altogether!

D'you kno what I mean! The thoughts and words of every man you'll meet!

  • I said it was good! Awesome song.

  • I know you did :) I would have said that to you regardless of what song!

    =) Keep the faith!

  • @ellandroadhero Cos it dont really sound like wonderwall.. It made huge song. wonderwall made as ballad.. its only few chords

  • Liam's voice was fukin damn great back then weren't it.

  • Maybe not still ticking like it was back then, but it's still magic.

  • noel at 57 sec,,,,,,,,,,lololololol

  • hahahaha roflmao yeah!

  • haha a bit of keith richards

  • Hope they play this again soon
