This was the first sparklehorse song I ever listened to and when I was hearing it for the first time, I was 12, on holidays in china and in a bus backing up towards the end of a cliff to park there was no railing and the cliff was fraught with danger...Meanwhile I was too busy listening to this song to notice anything.
the light in this is spectacular, I love how it glows. so beautiful. thanks for sharing these videos, you've got such talent. captures the song so well too, if I can be presumptuous it even seems like Mark Linkous in his natural habitat, those tall red flowers and all the lush foliage and butterflies, where on Earth was this filmed? sorry to overuse the word but what a beautiful scene.

all the videos were shot within 20 minutes of marks home in virginia..
this is a bit of a hurried mess...done at the very last minute.
it was early evening and the light was lovely.
the sun was going down and we did this in 15 mins.
most of the time was spent by an emi record person wrapping the plastic red flowers onto the grass.
then just shot on a super 8 camera.
