  • go hate elsewhere "Haters"!! this version kicks ass because the Headstones kick ass.

  • I could ruin a good song too!

  • subfloorjoist - Someday when you grow up you'll realize what good music is.

  • video's do not do this band justice....you have to experience them live to really appreciate them......Feb 5th can't come soon enough

  • My buddy is a DJ at a strip joint in Niagara falls, and apparentl one night Hugh paseed out in hid DJ booth. My buddy came in and tripped over him. Hugh got pissed off and threatened him and said "Do you know who the f*#k I am"? and started smashing stuff, dropped his coke all over the floor. He ended up getting the snot knocked out of him and did his show the next night with 2 black eyes. HAHAHA!!! Love the Headstones, but Hugh is an idiot.

  • @masonsapron358

What an awesome story! My friend is a security guard at a bank and one time Hugh Dillon came in and robbed the bank and shot the place up saying 'Is this life imitating art, or art imitating life' and then he passed out and woke up and tried to make a break for it but I tackled him to the ground and put a beating on him, despite his being much larger than I am. And then we became best friends. Love the Headstones but masonsapron is an idiot.

  • i like the part in this vid where it shows the back of the audiences heads.

  • Canadian Rock is the best

  • If yer Happy and you Know it /SHUT YER FACE Headstones ferever seen em live at least 20 times

  • I love the Headstones, but Hugh is a sellout.. :-(

  • Goood stuff! Is there not an official music video for this song?

  • FUCK CELLPHONES

  • If you're wondering what Hugh Dillon is doing these days, watch "Flashpoint" and look for the bald guy

  • hahaha

  • Yea but there are two Bald guys on the Show. He's the guy with his head saved Bald.

  • Hey, just wondering.. what exactly is or where is Front 54? I think I was at this show.. but I was REALLY young. Was it like a beach?

  • @alliekatt88 Front 54 is a club in Thorold, Ontario, which changed its name to The Moose and Goose. Most likely this was sponsored by 97.7 HTZ FM

  • wildcat beer

  • Man do I miss cracking open beers and rocking to Hugh & the boys live :(

  • Can never get enough of this song....we were over to the right at this show...they were unbelievable.

  • was that Kokanee or Wildcat Beer? lol

  • Awesome! I was at that show... and literally about 20 other headstones shows in the Hamilton, Toronto, Buffalo area. I first discovered them at a club in Buffalo called Impaxx. They were opening for the Pursuit of Happiness.

    CT

  • If it wasn't for this song or Cemetary I would never of listened to the Headstones in the first place... i mean everyone is entitled to there opinion and this version is pretty sweet, if you listen to the studio and for a cheap bootleg this is pretty good

  • the travelling willbury's could have farted and the bob dylan-fan sheep would praise it. this version is much better than the original.

  • agreed

  • @subfloorjoist Never, friend... TW is better, no doubt!

  • @subfloorjoist foolish posts... so boring

  • the front.... yeah.

  • I'm a huge Headstones fan great to see some of their stuff here cus when im not watching Hard Core Logo (Hugh Dillon Stars in it) Im listening to them

PS: JJL1234SL, they are not the greatest band ever, THEYRE BETTER!!

  • Greatest live band ever!!! Please post more!

  • When I first heard this song on the radio recently I thought it was a song from the 70's...I thought it was some Classic rock band that I hadn't heard of....that's how GOOD it was!

  • These guys are fck'n awesome I've met them in person. They used to cover Arazoina's in Thorold Ontario too!!! =)

  • True, if you're a very senior citizen...

The Headstones live version of this has a lot more punch.

  • or if you appreciate good music douchebag.

  • yeah but you see this song by the greaqtest bar band ever you could change your mind but you would want to remove your hearing aid and take your heart medication first.

  • Great Canadian Band. Glad I got to see them before they split. I cover Unsound & Tweeter check em out sometime.

  • Nobody could touch the Headstones on the 1st and 2nd albums...after that they just didn't have it anymore... something to see live back in the day though.....

  • Have you heard "The Oracle of Hi Fi"?

All the way to the hidden track at the end?

I felt the same as you until that release......

  • Oracle is a great album!!!

  • Great band, great song. Love to see'em back, but Hugh would have to get back to his kick ass self. A mellowed down version of the Headstones would seem weak.

    GREAT BAND!

  • did I ever mention I love youtube just for this . I have only heard the canned version without ever knowing this band(well I suspected they could play well) could kick it live.

thanks for the vid and headstones kick ass

  • headstones are amazing

  • Well, why are you here bozo? You don't know good shit from chocolate.

Headstones are and will always be great.

  • One of the best stage performances Ive ever seen... simple.. powerful.. and energetic... And Ive seen Gwar... And Rammstein..also awesome shows. But Ive got to say... these guys rock..

  • Front 54 was the first club I ever went to back when I was 13 years old. I am 22 now. I think when I first went I seen Noise Therapy and Some punk band from EL Crossley highschool. This was when the Headstones were mad popular.

  • Hugh you owe me 3 cigarettes, you fucker,,,thanks for the autograph though ;)

  • Hell Yeah.... Dude this is a great cover of the Traveling Wilbury's song...Ive been looking for a live version of this song for years...thanks... I'm in the middle of the "Tweeter And The Monkey Man" Script...Cross you'r fingers!!!

  • How goes the script then?

  • After "The Fall Of Eddie" Comes "Tweeter And The Monkey Man"

    09?

  • Great Band. Great song. Great venue.

Hopefully we will see them again someday.

Would love to see more if you have the whole show.
