My buddy is a DJ at a strip joint in Niagara falls, and apparentl one night Hugh paseed out in hid DJ booth. My buddy came in and tripped over him. Hugh got pissed off and threatened him and said "Do you know who the f*#k I am"? and started smashing stuff, dropped his coke all over the floor. He ended up getting the snot knocked out of him and did his show the next night with 2 black eyes. HAHAHA!!! Love the Headstones, but Hugh is an idiot.
What an awesome story! My friend is a security guard at a bank and one time Hugh Dillon came in and robbed the bank and shot the place up saying 'Is this life imitating art, or art imitating life' and then he passed out and woke up and tried to make a break for it but I tackled him to the ground and put a beating on him, despite his being much larger than I am. And then we became best friends. Love the Headstones but masonsapron is an idiot.
i saw them live a year b4 pitcher came out there was 30 people there next time there was over 1000 id love to see them reunite did you all know that hugh became a yuppie i had a yuppie magazine with him showing off all his :rich stuff"
subfloorjoist is such a fag the headstones lick balls this cover is wack as hell. the wilburys are the greatest supergroup ever conceived they always will be this just another example of untalented douchebags covering songs written by Bob Dylan. (and dont lie to yourself because Bob Dylan is credited as the greatest american song writer.) and he always will be. furthermore anyone else who actually likes this version might as well stick a hot curling iron in their ears cuz thats the what this is
Awesome! I was at that show... and literally about 20 other headstones shows in the Hamilton, Toronto, Buffalo area. I first discovered them at a club in Buffalo called Impaxx. They were opening for the Pursuit of Happiness.

that version they are doing is disgusting!!!
i mean its cool to do covers of songs u love, but you generally wanna try and make it better if you ve going to play it in front of people i dont know who this band is but i d never go to any of there shows based on this crime
If it wasn't for this song or Cemetary I would never of listened to the Headstones in the first place... i mean everyone is entitled to there opinion and this version is pretty sweet, if you listen to the studio and for a cheap bootleg this is pretty good
I'm a huge Headstones fan great to see some of their stuff here cus when im not watching Hard Core Logo (Hugh Dillon Stars in it) Im listening to them
PS: JJL1234SL, they are not the greatest band ever, THEYRE BETTER!!
When I first heard this song on the radio recently I thought it was a song from the 70's...I thought it was some Classic rock band that I hadn't heard of....that's how GOOD it was!
yeah but you see this song by the greaqtest bar band ever you could change your mind but you would want to remove your hearing aid and take your heart medication first.
Nobody could touch the Headstones on the 1st and 2nd albums...after that they just didn't have it anymore... something to see live back in the day though.....
Great band, great song. Love to see'em back, but Hugh would have to get back to his kick ass self. A mellowed down version of the Headstones would seem weak.
did I ever mention I love youtube just for this . I have only heard the canned version without ever knowing this band(well I suspected they could play well) could kick it live.
One of the best stage performances Ive ever seen... simple.. powerful.. and energetic... And Ive seen Gwar... And Rammstein..also awesome shows. But Ive got to say... these guys rock..
Front 54 was the first club I ever went to back when I was 13 years old. I am 22 now. I think when I first went I seen Noise Therapy and Some punk band from EL Crossley highschool. This was when the Headstones were mad popular.
Hell Yeah.... Dude this is a great cover of the Traveling Wilbury's song...Ive been looking for a live version of this song for years...thanks... I'm in the middle of the "Tweeter And The Monkey Man" Script...Cross you'r fingers!!!
go hate elsewhere "Haters"!! this version kicks ass because the Headstones kick ass.

Hey, just wondering.. what exactly is or where is Front 54? I think I was at this show.. but I was REALLY young. Was it like a beach?
alliekatt88 2 years ago
@alliekatt88 Front 54 is a club in Thorold, Ontario, which changed its name to The Moose and Goose. Most likely this was sponsored by 97.7 HTZ FM
