the REAL point of Ron Paul is that 12 months ago i did not give a damn about politics nor any of the candidates.now i do, now i am interested and now i am aware.he speaks the language of the common man and unwaveringly explains the governmental quagmire we are in and his positive solutions as to how to get out of it. i have heard nothing from ANYONE ELSE that i can support or inspires me. My heroes are people who take risks and get things done. Ron Paul is not a hero. His campaign was no risk and all benefit. He benefited from masquerading as a Republican in order to reach a wider audience. He will go back to being a no-name congressman when it is all over.

Do you not understand what freedom is Weddel? Do you not understand that the people give the rights to the government not the other way around? Do you really think these politicians are doing their job with honesty and integrity?  Do you really believe what the media tells you? I very much understand what freedom is. I understand what the Constitution says about rights and where we get them from. What you don't understand is that Ron Paul, while I believe he is a man of honesty and integrity, would not change a thing if he were elected president. Presidents don't make laws or interpret the Constitution. Presidents have to be leaders. They have to be able to get things done. The whole time Ron has been in Congress he has done nothing but rail against the government.

Being elected to Congress is no great feat. Look at the crazy people the Democrats keep sending back year after year. Railing against the government does nothing. Leading actual changes in the government is the key.

He has been preaching this message for decades and no one has killed him yet! He is a libertarian. I understand his message, and it has been rejected on more than one occasion. I don't question his integrity or sincerity. He is simply not an acceptable candidate for most Republicans.

If he's not a viable threat to the ohter candidates, then what's the reason for the blackout? How come the media won't let him be heard? He wins his seat back in Texas, but only receives 6% for the Presidnetial race? There's a reason why he's not being treated fairly.
