I hope he can but I have lost a ton of confidence in either party. I will vote for him though nobody else will get my vote unless it is Ventura or Joe Rogan.
the REAL point of Ron Paul is that 12 months ago i did not give a damn about politics nor any of the candidates.now i do, now i am interested and now i am aware.he speaks the language of the common man and unwaveringly explains the governmental quagmire we are in and his positive solutions as to how to get out of it. i have heard nothing from ANYONE ELSE that i can support or inspires me. Ron Paul has enlightened many americans and deserves our support. please run for president Ron!
@dudemantwo Uh I am A white guy and I love all people and that is why I am for Ron Paul. So you have never used a racist term in your entire life? Be honest and admit racism exists in all people. It is our jobs to educate ourselves and be better people. An educated man can never be a racist.
WEDDEL, I am very passionate about getting Ron Paul into office. I don't want a chip floating around my body, I don't want a national ID, the IRS is stealing money that I worked for, my 380 is for protection, if anybody besides Ron Paul gets into office, I could lose my right to bear arms. I'm fustrating myself trying to get you to understand why this man is so important so I won't be responding to anything else. Take care of yourself and I hope evrything works out for you....Peace
Kristofferson simply says is like it is--Ron Paul simply says is like it is--for the love of country and the love of humanity, what part of that don't some of you people get?
Repeating something does not make it true. Dr. Paul's campaign is not heroic in any sense of the word. He gets to travel around the country and pretend he is running for president. This is not his first time, he did it before except he was doing it on the Libertarian party's dime.

My heroes are people who take risks and get things done. Ron Paul is not a hero. His campaign was no risk and all benefit. He benefited from masquerading as a Republican in order to reach a wider audience. He will go back to being a no-name congressman when it is all over.
In the political arena Dr. Paul is pure hero and has taken more chances by speaking the truth, and presenting legislation to save our constitutional republic for longer than any I know.
Never swaying, despite the ever present possibility of going against his constituency.
He left a medical practice to perform this public service in an exemplary manner.
He studied economic policy and so proficiently that even now media is seeking him out for opinions of the impending depression.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
He has been elected like 10 times from his district. I doubt that they were on the verge of dumping him any time soon. They obviously like his rant. Tell me, what has he ever accomplished in Congress to change things other than complain about them? He gets asked his option NOW because he is running for president. That is a benefit, not a risk. I guess if you predict doom and gloom long enough you are bound to be right sometime.
Your logic is really dizzying. In order for you to agree that Ron Paul has taken risks, he has to have accomplished something. Now that he has taken a risk running for president and is in a better position to accomplish things he believes in, neither of these counts as a risk, anymore, but only a selfish benefit of the previous risks which are no longer risks but benefits?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Tell me what the risks were? When the campaign is over, what will he have lost? He has traveled the country and spoken to adoring crowds. Did he resign as a congressman? No! Was he doing this on his own money? NO! Come people, if like Ron Paul that is all well and good, but don't try to make the man a hero!
He IS a hero, people are waking up and coming to understand what a corrupt government America has thanks to him. His campaign is bigger than his run for President.
I know all you Ron Paul supporters would love to believe that. What you fail to realize is that if by some stroke of fate, Ron Paul were president tomorrow, nothing would change.
Do you not understand what freedom is Weddel? Do you not understand that the people give the rights to the government not the other way around? Do you really think these politicians are doing their job with honesty and integrity? Do you really believe what the media tells you? Our country was founded because people sought freedom and wanted the king out of their business. Always distrust government. They work for you. You do not work for them. The Constitution contains the rules.
I very much understand what freedom is. I understand what the Constitution says about rights and where we get them from. What you don't understand is that Ron Paul, while I believe he is a man of honesty and integrity, would not change a thing if he were elected president. Presidents don't make laws or interpret the Constitution. Presidents have to be leaders. They have to be able to get things done. The whole time Ron has been in Congress he has done nothing but rail against the government.
And in doing so, has been re-elected 11 times for his Congress seat. There's a few people in Texas that continue to believe in him while he rails against the Government.
Being elected to Congress is no great feat. Look at the crazy people the Democrats keep sending back year after year. Railing against the government does nothing. Leading actual changes in the government is the key.
As a black woman, I beg to differ. Railing against the government does bring change. The civil rights movement is a prime example of that. Ron paul stands for the same kind of patriotism that MLK did. Fairness for all mankind.
You said that railing against the governemnt doesn't bring change. It's not a comparison it's a fact. This man is causing people to change their way of thinking. His message is bigger than his campaign, if you don't understand that, then I pray that your life is as happy as YOU can make it, because without Ron Paul in office, Uncle Sam is going to make it a living hell. Risk?! This man's message is powerful that I feel he may be rsiking his life. MLK and JFK lost their lives for their messages.

He has been preaching this message for decades and no one has killed him yet! He is a libertarian. I understand his message, and it has been rejected on more than one occasion. I don't question his integrity or sincerity. He is simply not an acceptable candidate for most Republicans.
I never knew who Ron Paul was up until 2007. From what I can gather, his message has never been on such a mass scale. If he's not a viable threat to the ohter candidates, then what's the reason for the blackout? How come the media won't let him be heard? He wins his seat back in Texas, but only receives 6% for the Presidnetial race? There's a reason why he's not being treated fairly.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
He has received SPECIAL treatment from the Media if you ask me. You have only heard of him now because he was running for president as a Republican. There was no blackout. No one voted for him because they disagree with his positions.
He voted against the war, he thinks the IRS and Federal Reserve need to disappear, he is a champion of the Constitution, he understands our monetary system better than ANY other candidate, he has the most support from our troops than every other candidate combined, his grassroots support raised over 6Million dollars in 24 hours, but according to you and the establishment, no one agrees with his positions.
i would say the majority don't understand his position it takes more than watching fox news to get it you actually have to read a few books and think critically. that is the problem most people are to busy to dig deeper.
The average american does not realize that Ron Paul is still in the race with the most cash in hand (4 million). After Romney bowed out the media "presumed" John McCain was the Republican nominee. Obama and Hilary are still debating. How come the media has not let Ron Paul debate Jon McCain?
Corporate tools = OBAMA, HILARY, McCAIN
Who received the most money from active duty troops than All of the GOP candidates combined?

You ignorant fool. If you think any part of what it took for Dr. Paul to conduct this campaign was less than heroic, you're not just an ignorant fool you're a damned fool.
Furthermore, he is STILL IN THIS RACE- and as a Ron Paul delegate I'm working to get his voice heard where it counts, at convention- not where you ignoramouses think it's heard, by popular vote.
Ron Paul has not resigned from the race AT ALL. You believe too much TV. No one ever saw him say he was not running. Since he is the only one that can fix America, like it or not, VOTE FOR HIM!
You probably didnt notice the media treatment of Ron Paul or the poll fraud or the vote fraud. hahah you keep laughing as you live in your tent or meybe you will be in a detainment camp laughing. You sire are a fool. You call the ones who are trying to save your ass tards. You sir are a retard.

I didn't know that somebody won the nomination since the convention has not happened. Yes, McTurd has it all going for him...granted...but have you added up the 'Bound' delegates? I have...and he still doesn't have enough. I suggest you google Missouri & Ron Paul...also do it with Nevada, Colorado and other states. You'll see Republican party platform changes happening across the country as Ron Paul PCP's have been taking counties and whole states...they will be RP delegates...McSpud...pfftt
