My scratched up UG2 still works perfectly whereas my undeground rivals slightly scratched and case broken doesnt even let me race...

ok i just got resistance retribution and then the next day its wasn't working i tried cleaning it and it still wouldn't work. it happens with my mortal kombat game too. earlier today i tried cleaning the disc as much as i could, put it back in its case, and then the icon showed. i played it and then it took me back to the menu and says that my mortal kombat game can't be started

wow that stupid still cant figure out how it works? the metal thing spins in the psp but since its loose its not spinning the disc its spinning itself the metal thingy that goes in the motor is not moving the umd by taping it ur connecting the medal to the disc and when the medal spins the umd spins NO SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND WTF?

Nice dude! I just now tried it on my old Monster Hunter Freedom UMD, and it worked perfect. Mine barely was loose but I did it anyway.

some one help! for some reason, my psp wouldnt play certain umds, for excample sims 2 castaway, and midnight club. when i put the umd in it shows up in my games place, jus like how its suppose to, but when i try to start it, it says game could not be played. wats that about? pls help. i have the latest cfw. 4.01m33-2

try this, go to recovery menu, (turn ur psp on and hold R) then go to configuration then go down to umd mode, press x untill it says m33 driver (-no umd-) it should run your umds, if that dosent work go to configuration again and go down to game folder homebrew it should say (3.90 kernel) or in your case (4.01m33 kernel) if none of this works there is one last thing i had to do. go to advanced then advanced configuration then make sure (plain modules in UMD/ISO) is Enabled, hope this helps. xD
