Skills doesn't get you a "letter" on your jersey. Showing up day in and day out, in practice, and during games, producing, competeing, and leading gets you a letter. Obviously he's not doing that. He's soft on the puck, not good forechecker or backchecker, doesn't compete too hard for loose pucks, goes extended periods where he floats and produces nothing, not a clutch player and not physical. He doesn't deserve a "C" maybe a "C-" or a "D+". Would be a pretty good 3rd line centre on an OK team.

@tfw13 I know enough that Stajan wasn't getting an "A" on his jersey... in fact they shipped him off to Calgary where he's not doing much to get them into the playoffs. Stajan is a 3rd line centre on a good team, and a 2nd of 1st line on a team that can't make the playoffs. He's not a leader.

stajan sucks...not big or overly physical. Not a great goal scorer or playmaker. Not a very good or even fast skater. Okay checker but still makes defensive mistakes....won;t fit in Burke's style of play....no skill or grit
