  • There are two ways to fix the issue _ either disable the DRL completely of bypass it. If you would like to bypass it give us a call 916-429-1333 and we will tell you what you need.

  • I have HIDs on my 08 Si... But my day running lights flicker and strobe like crazy. But when I switch the brights they work. Any idea on how to fix it?

  • This video is meant to give people an Idea of how the HID KIT is installed. We did not go into detail as of how you are supposed to hide all the wiring and make everything look stock.

  • dude. i hope no one is paying you to install. Ive put Six HID kits in 4 cars...if i did it you would never know the car had any thing after market if you popped the hood.. poorly done

  • So the light isn't fully scattered because of that freaking metal shield blocking it? :[

  • HID's in a halogen housing? Beyond retardation.

  • How do to hook up his on 92 mustang gt

  • Do I need a relay harness for a 2007 Monte Carlo ss? Or just the digital ballast? Thanks.

  • @lyrrick You need to buy a pair of computer canceller cables othewise known as canbus. Knowly you probably Know this already but just for those that dont.

  • @lyrrick You need a pair of computer canceller cables or otherwise known as CanBus.

  • I have a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse gt. I am getting HID hi lo kit. The regular bulb size is h3. What size bulb would it be for hi lo kit?

  • Xenon is illegal in Sweden :P

  • what seriously......;(

  • want better quality HID kits that wont flicker?

    Digital SLIM Ballast upgrade

    ultrahid.com

  • @hidspeed So you dont need to put the original bulb cover back with bi-xenon hid?

  • nice vid, bro got a question, i installed my HID kit last week but when i turn it on, on my dash board it shows that one of my lights is gone, like it is removed. Remmeber you said that you plug instead of the old bulb, plug in the thing to send the signal to turn on the light only on one side, what about the other one ? is there something to put on the other sides swtich for my light to turn off on the dash board ?

  • @latindragonxjc professional dont use gloves they are around dirty shops and engines all the time. yea your supposed to wear clean gloves to prevent getting the bulbs dirty with grease or body oils.and yes to keep your hands cleaned

  • @kawazuki2K crazy drunk bastard

  • hey guy nice video and a question X U what you put in the headlight firts what the bulb is a cover o protection or wath? thank U

  • My carr iss sowwwwww mutch beter with the xenon head light ! i lovee itt it coast me about 120$ her in morocco

  • @kawazuki2K

Please come to my house and break my lights.

  • @tejasbullet Yeah I wish someone would come to my house and bust out my lights. Freedom of speech will be used followed buy a gold ole fashion a** whipping!!

  • Esti de rar fraiere...-10

  • @kawazuki2K Dude, the only reason peoples lights are blinding, is because they dont adjust them. with any light brighter than OEM you need to adjust them down since they project differently. I have halogens and adjusted them so I can see to the best projection of my lights and it doesnt blind them. The lights that are blinding you on the road are UNADJUSTED Thats why one light looks brighter than the other. Because one light is staring at you and the other is looking at the curb. Getting HIDs.

  • man, shouldve scraped off the paint underneath before you put that ground wire in...

  • dude that is so easy...

  • You should NEVER wear jewlery when working around batteries or auto electrical wiring.

  • OK how bout all the taduntaduns that put 4wheelers or sleds or lets just say [extra weight] in there trucks so the fricking headlight will be hmm higher or lower? Yea if u said higher u won!, now xenon. im blind! So here is a good rule of thumb, pull in front of garage door ,10 feet from face, ok low beam should not be above your" average knee".20 to 22 inches, and high beam should only be 2 inches above that total but make sure you dont have several hundred pounds of even sand in car trunk...K

  • what part of sac are u located in im interested in getting some hid lights on my car???

  • Keep that bracelet on..............if u electrocute urself at least u looked sexy when u died...

  • I have a n 03 VW Jetta. When I have my kit installed its always on with the high beams any suggestion on how to fix this?

  • Everytime I see a xenon user approaching me from the opposing lane I instantly hit my brights and leave em on until I pass them. TAKE THAT BITCH !!!

  • @ReneeNme You're a fag....even if you do put your high beams on they still don't match up to the luminosity of my 8K HIDS hahahaaha! WIN

  • @Devourment420 Trying to be cool on the roadway with your xenon's doesn't make you cool, it makes you a hazard to other drivers. Especially to drivers with light sensitive eyes such as myself. Good thing after markets are illegal in some states, too bad their not illegal in all ... YET !!!

  • @ReneeNme Well I have projector lenses for mine asshole so they're actually legit. I'm sorry your feeble eyesight can't handle it, so when I install my 6k high beams I'll be sure to blind you just to be a dickhead. And hey like I said in my earlier post I don't give a flying fuck about other drivers, all I care about is my ability to see at night and I'm surely not hitting a deer in my 2007 WRX sorry!

  • @Devourment420 And I'll be sure to throw a pipe wrench at your windshield as you pass me, " asshole ".

  • @ReneeNme you gotta catch me first man!!! Can you keep up with turbo? I doubt it!!!

  • @Devourment420 6k highbeams? you do realize that HIDS need to be warmed up, so the constant on and off that highbeams require just kill the bulb? Also more light is not how to deal with deer, they like to stop and stare at light

  • @TheDennyvu They work really good actually. And no shit HID's have to be charged up, once they are charged every aspect of the road is well-lit. You're a moron dude obviously if I can see the deer before he approaches the roadway I'm gonna stop. Jesus christ your intelligence just isn't up to par is it?

  • @Devourment420 8k is stupid, thats a blue/purple light and as you go higher up the color range your get less light output

  • @TheDennyvu Actually moron on the lumens scale it's considered crystal blue which is practically white with blue tint. Fuckin moron lol

  • @Devourment420 white with a tint of blue is 6k and is what most peole consider the limit of being "road legal" and the point where I said they have to be ignited is why you will kill your bulbs sticking them in high beams. The constant igniting and then shutting them off in succession as high beams require will kill the bulb. And my intelligence is on par because I happen to know 8k is a color temperature, not a lumens scale.

  • @TheDennyvu 6k is white you idiot. 8k is a hint of blue you're an absolute idiot. I've had my 6k lows and 6k highs for a year and a half now and they haven't gone down. Guess you gotta buy the good kits that cost like 250$ instead of the shitty 80$ kits.

  • @Devourment420 you should read up on your HID faqs that you can find on HID planet or TRS heres copied and pasted:

4300K Has a slightly off-white output similar to that of sunlight

5000K A pure white output, no tinge of yellow, and no tinge of blue.

6000K+ As you move into the higher kelvin ratings, your light output will appear more bluish-purple in hue, but the bulbs wont be physically as bright.

  • @Devourment420 you should also know that spending $250 on a kit is worthless, when you can get OEM Matsushita Or Denso ballast with that much that can strike a bulb many times and warm them up almost instantly.

  • @Devourment420 oh and if you still need more support because you cant get it throught your head, As the Kelvin rating of a bulb increases, its Lumen rating decreases. Simply put: 4300K bulbs will put more usable light on the road compared to 6000K, 8000K, 15,000K bulbs. Period, end of story. TRS refuses to sell anything higher than 6000K because 1) We don't cater to obnoxious "enthusiasts" and 2) it starts to defeat one of the main purposes of the headlight upgrade: better light output

  • @TheDennyvu Ok mr "HID scientist". I don't give a fuck about your gay ass facts. All I'm concerned with is that my 6K (High and low beams) will make me aware of any animal that wants to wreck my WRX. 6K is the brightest output end of story. And I hope you get a moose through your windshield just because you suck.

  • @Devourment420 I hate to state another fact, I do love Scoobies but the thing is, 6k is not the brightest output, 4300k outputs the most lumens, which is why it is the bulb used in all OEM applications

  • @TheDennyvu ok you win I'm not going to argue this further. I'll end this by saying I love my 6k HIDs low and high beams. I guess color varies on which projection lens it's housed in but whatever. I live in a very wooded area in upstate NY and deer are treacherous for wrecking cars. I see them fuckers a mile out with my HIDs <3333 them

  • @TheDennyvu 5000K is totally white 6000K is white diamond 8000K is blueish white...

  • thanks

  • good presentation, but you could have done better. thanks though....

  • i have these two plus (red) and minus(black) wires with a very thin steel thing attach to it. what is that for?? and mine is samething as his but those two wires are different

  • shitty ass install.. sloppy as fuck .

  • @paidnfull I HIGHLY agree.. I would never take it to this guy.

  • These kits are pathetic...

  • man i thought all you'd have to do is put the bulb in and that's it

  • Is this 2005 model civic? If so dosen't it uses HB4/HB3 low/high beem seperately in its headlight housing. How can you plug H4 type into HB4. And if it is possible, then you will simply leave the HB3 socket or do what?

It seems like you gonna have one low beam and two high beam in each light? strange??

  • Jesus, eve heard of a litte "finess" during your installation? It's not like these bulb housings are glass or anything...

    Be gentle

  • What jose76pe said. What's more, the cars reflectors and plastic headlight cover will loose their clarity very fast with even more dramatic results.

  • Thanks for the video! Good stuff

  • This dude sounds like Kevin Costner.

  • you are going to blind innocent drivers with that shit, you should have installed projectors

  • I have a problem..someone help.. my HID lights up fine....but the switch wont turn them off...only on...the only way the lights turn off is if I cut the battery...everything else turns off fine with the switch as normal..but the HID's stay on until I cut the battery...why?

  • flick em on and off more why dont you

  • How come for my Mustang headlights I can't use the retainer ring? When I installed my HID lights the o-ring will not fit and the hid bulb can easily be popped out. Because of this I have to use electrical tape to secure the bulb.

  • this was very helpful. i just ordered a set of BiXenon H.I.D. kit. Didn't think it would be so simple.

  • Is the low and high beam both HID? I got a kit and LOW BEAM is HID and HIGH BEAM is crappier than the oem halogen..

  • @tsimnuj07 Me 2 i fell for it the first time and i tried and tried 2 tell them they were missleading people. It must say Bi-xenon to be a tru high hid and low hid beam.

  • Is that all you have to do to get those headlights that blind everyone...seems pretty easy.

  • hey i was wondering if the hid kit will fit in any car??or does it have to be a specific type???

  • is that a H4-3 type bulb ?

  • i wish grand ams where that easy to replace bulbs cause its just a bunch of horseshit to replace it

  • this is easily the sloppiest install I have ever seen... and it sounds like gold bracelet here is doing it in a public parking lot too.. what a baller

  • @Sevendust3i4 How is the sloppie? just because he didnt want to make a 10 min video of zip tieing wires and shit to make it look nice dosnt mean he never did it... And how do you know hes doing it in a public parking lot? How do you know its not infront of a shop or something? its not like you need to put a car on a lift to change some fucking lights...

  • hi i just installed this exact kit and my hi doesnt work

  • To many wires

  • well no shit, when it has to deal with the electrical part of you vehicle of course its a lot of work

  • fuck you :)

  • @djpuppy28 I agree. It's only worth messing with if it's a smart headlight like BMW has where the direction of the projector turns depending on steering angle.

  • I like the other video with the Guy that sounds like a Robot his video is cooler :D

  • no power stearing. I mounted mine just after the power stear. I lookes like it might not make it, but the indentions in the hood make it clear. email me for pics. thanks. I got the x tunes.

  • That ground will last one winter if your lucky. Self tapping screw into a painted fender? Nice....

  • wait explain u said if u tape it

  • @Snowdogkh he shulda at least ground the paint off lol

  • @Snowdogkh lol i second that, clean off paint of ur ground points before mounting it down.

  • what is ur number again?

  • how much do these installations would cost if done professionally? anyone?

  • like 30 to 40 dollars

  • My question is what if you have aftermarket headlights, and you wish to convert the entire projector system to HID, and it has 3 bulbs each? No way to have a battery bulb system or is there not enough juice?

  • hi i got a honda accord 98 and this one got separate light you known the high and low but i want like one this one high and low together can i do that ???????thank you

  • i got a 98 bmw 328i ..but i dont how to intall if my battery is on the trunk..any help

  • just conect a longer wire to teh 1 that has to go to the battery and mount a fise holder beside the battery incase of shorts.

  • I have a cobalt and i have the same problem. you are saying you have to run a wire through the car and connect it to the battery?

  • yes, you can run it thru the car to the battery or to the 'HOT' side of the starter solenoid.

  • There's a positive battery terminal jump box in the engine bay. You can use that for the positive and the body for the negative.

  • god damn i hate these kits the headlight housing cant handle that light im constantly blinded by dumbasses at my school that buy these kits just get some luminics or piaa lights something thats not blinding perhaps?

  • i have a '96 altima. im wanting hid's xenon's or whatever the bright lights are that blind me whenever i pass an oncoming navigator or something like that. they piss me off, i just wanna throw my highbeams on them. XP ANYWAYS; do i need to buy FOUR bulbs that way i have two running lights, and then two high-beam lights? help, message me or whatever please. thanks.

  • what not shown in this video is that you need to install the bulb rubber dust boot so your headlights wont get filled with dust and moisture.

and please use existing 6mm bolts to connect the grounds.

those h4 bi beams use a slider that blocks the hole in the chromed piece and moves away from the hole when you switch on the high beam.

its a single bulb with a moving mechanism.

  • agreed you will not only damage the housing...but the circuit along with it

  • That guys an idiot he just put that screw right where the tire will hit it.

  • They are road legal if you retrofit projectors into the headlight housing that are designed for xenon bulbs. DO NOT INSTALL XENON BULBS INTO FACTORY REFLECTOR TYPE HOUSINGS! They will not only damage your headlamp assembly, but you will blind other drivers because the beams will scatter everywhere.

  • Stop being little fags and bitching that its not road legal. It's better than getting a deer through your windshield.

  • agreed!

  • these things are sweet because it reflects off of animals eyes. i prevented like 8 accidents for sure

  • people that complain about them are people who are fucking jealous of not having HID's fuck them all i dont care if i blind them as long as i can get a better view of the road.

  • i agree lol. plus, you know how many times ive been blinded by people with STOCK xenon headlights!!!!

  • @Devourment420 99% of the fags you are talking about are american. Sorry but some of you guys DO like HIDs on your F150, F250 , harley paperson and escalades.

  • I love my HID's on my 2007 Subaru WRX!!!

  • 100% not road legal

  • i just don't give a shit. my car is nothing legal anyways.

  • @sleepyend your mom isn't road legal when she is tipping on my dick.

  • I have a quesiton, i installed bixenon kit but my hi low beams are switched? and the bulbs only fit one way...thanks

  • y is there a piece of metal blocking half the bulb or is that just for that particular model?

  • no need to make ur own ground, theres tons of possible ground locations

  • so what if you have a seperate hi beam light buld and a low beam lightbulb?

  • You'll need two separate single beam HID kit.

  • @GHROCKER3 get a bixenon kit

  • These retrofit HID conversion bulbs are illegal to use on the road in the US, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luembourg, Malta, Netherland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK........

  • Do you know by any chance if it's legal in Canada, Quebec? I try to search for any info and nothing. Thanks in advance

  • did you find out if they are legal in quebec?

  • I'm pretty they are not cause they don't have a cut-off line which mean that there's alot of glare which make people blind. If you do a retrofit it will be legal for sure. There's a DIY here on youtube so look it up.

  • BI Xenon? Doesnt those have 2 xenon bulbs per socket, that looks more like a High Low kit.

  • Does it come with the gloves?

  • I received my kit today... and i wanna know if anybody can install it for me? i have an idea on how to install it but i dont wanna fuck up or something. lol !

  • Isn't this way of installing HID's illegal? I thought you have to fabricate a projector. Using the reflective headlight housing and an HID bulb will cause the beam to not be aimed properly and blind oncoming traffic.

  • i have an 01 Civic coupe DX. I recently bought some 10k HIDs and having a hard time putting them in. I plugged them in and they wont turn on. any advice?

    Thanks.

  • Check Your ground contact's

GCJeepDriver09 Has to be touching pure metal not the painted part of the car.

  • take off that braclet, its a good conductor, u dont wont it to melt on ur skin if it touches the battery terminals...

  • @BIIGBOI562 you'd be a dumb ass to touch positive and negative terminals with da bracelet alone

  • @BIIGBOI562 Or think you make too much money of people.....
