well you're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. I think Maria's new cd is probably on of the best she has ever made, and would recomend others to give it a listen.
@trineandjames I adore everything she has ever done, but I do have issues with her back up musicians... with sensitive ears, I found her earlier work more clean, easier to listen to... the background from a purely technical pov is cluttered, noise. I blame her husband~
because obviously she can do no wrong, she is a Goddess!
So talented and so beautiful. Their are so many artists with mega-budgets & multi-national labels behind them that just can't deliver the goods, yet Maria can deliver a package like this on a shoe string, R E S P E C T! She has an ear for a good tune and an ability to grab it by the balls and build it up in to the most amazing crechendo of music . . . Love it!
Maria is the most under rated female singer, song writer, and player I know of. How she keeps making albums of high quality after decades in the business is beyond me. Perhaps it is down to her genuine talent and hard work.
this was the first song I hear by her... today, years later, I own absolutely everything she has put out.
