  • quick question wer didi you get the fabric

  • @blazinganna That fabric I think I picked up at walmart when it still had the fabric section. At the time it was the only place around here with fabric.

  • i dont tie knots i do a hole in tha middle n put tha two inbetween n then pull out it looks wayyy better!

  • @marisol0110 Aww thanks! I'm glad the vid helped. :)

  • I like these kind of blankets. They are warm and look great.

  • Great video! Im definately going to try this out. Iv got thermal fleece before to use in normal blankets, so this would be ideal for a UK Winter.

  • Hello! This is a great video. I am writing to let you and your viewers know that I have developed an adjustable cutting template for cutting the fringe. I have two models, 1/2" and 1" widths. They are adjustable to make 2, 3 or 4" lengths by moving a flexible bar to the desired notch. If interested, you can see more by going to my website fring-ez.com. I hope you check it out. Thanks!

  • DOUBLE KNOT!!!!

I would like to strongly recommend that you double knot the fringe. I washed a baby blankent and an adult blanket that had only been knotted once as she recommended and they both came apart in the wash. It turned into a much more difficult project to try to match up the top fringe with the bottom fringe for two blankets. We are finally done. Whew!!!

  • I love these!! I have one and I want to make some I am going to get some fleece and make some for christmas

  • very nice im running a little low on money a good chrismas present thanks

  • That is excellent. So simple, but so good. Thank you. It is good to see a woman in a long dress. I wish more women wore long dresses or long skirts.

  • TY this helped me so much.. You do make it look very easy :)

  • I love this idea and the instructions are very simple. Great family project for snow days or girls sleepover activities. Also, great for Girl Scouts and church events. Thank you for sharing. Five Stars *****

  • Another great video...Thanks for sharing!

I hope that you and your family have a very Merry CHRISTmas!

  • Very cool *****

  • It looks like you could tie three edges, insert a foam liner, and then tie the last edge to add another layer of insulation.

  • Yes I bet you could! I think you could also layer it before tying any sides and it would work.

    Great idea :-)

  • Don't cut your finger off..... blood is good for ratings... haha.

You have a very cool web site too.

  • Thanks :-)

  • They definitly look warm!!! I have a HUGE down comfortor that I have had for about 10 years now... Every once in awhile I get it "maintained"... I'm not sure what they call it, but it's cleaned and refilled??

    Anyways, great vid as always!!!

  • Oh great, I didn't know you could have them refilled!

  • My wife ( great gal ) made some of these for Christmas, as well as some for here at home. Really warm, and hold up good too. Thanks, great video.

  • Oh that's great! They are such a nice gift that doesn't take to long to make.

  • Those are a big hit here. Every store sells the kits here.

  • Oh cool, I've never seen the kits sold around here.

  • Yeah my oldest daughter gets one every year. All the kit is the fabric with the lines marked on it for you to cut thats it. They cost about the same and just a fabric too.
