I know there was a G-7 chord that I didn't get the best handle on towards the latter part of the tune and there was a bit of buzz there and also the last harmonic got cut off early. Until just this month the setup has been near perfect. I'm just now starting to hear the occasional buzz so I'll have to keep an eye on that. It may be fine once things warm up a bit outside.
Got it elevn7, thanks for replying...I actually saw the video wanting to hear the Carvin guitar. I'm considering buying the sh575. I'm starting to like Carvin because it's made entirely in the U.S.A. The guitar has really great tone and I like the option of it sounding like an accoustic...looks like it will do everything.
@wiclsurge it's definitely a pretty cool guitar. carvin did an awesome job. I was pretty nervous buying it without having been able to try it or really hear it in person. I'm very happy with the tones I can get from it.
It's a lot different from any other guitar I've ever owned though and it's taken me a long time to adjust to the feel of it. In fact, I don't think I'm completely used to it yet. My others had contoured backs, this doesn't and
Thank you so much for playing a guitar so passionately, i can tell you love "real" music. I like to hear how a guitar sounds and you've given that to me...thanks, keep up the good work.
@tonedr wow... thanks Dale! I wish it had come out a little better. I was a bit nervous.
Your prs semi-hollow is a pretty sweet guitar. They both seem similar. anyway, it was really a nice surprise to find your comments here. it's kinda quiet around these parts. ;)
Pretty cool channel you have.. I happen to be a fan of Paul Gilbert. I wish I had known about Racer X back in the day, would've like to have seen them.
Nice job, a very comforting tune.

I see your 575. did you replace the red 550? how would you compare them?
hollysdad 5 months ago
@hollysdad Actually, this is the only Carvin I've ever had.
The 550 is the same guitar minus the special pickups for synth access.

wow, thanks so much for all the kind words.
Any buzzing you heard was more likely to be me.

Sweet, very sweet. Your practice shows.
Fantastic tone.
Did I hear just a hair of buzz a couple of times. If so, was it you or the set-up?
FYI. Seeing and hearing you play fixed it in stone for me; gotta have an SH575!
Thanks for sharing your talent!
