This version is far more powerful and intense than the studio versin. The lead guitar into and outro in particular are lost in the studio mix whereas here they provide ethereal and very moving back drops to Bowie's last great work.

This song has such an ethereal quality. It sounds as something we would hear as we die.

When the clapping starts, I feel goosebumps all over. It's kind of unexpected, but sounds so beautiful.

The guitar at the beginning is my ringtone. It is hauntingly beautiful. I love the way he exits the stage too at the end with his arm on Gail Anne Dorsey's shoulder. The spiritually 'blind man' which is the character on the album sleeve, and a theme throughout the tracks.

I remember watching this at the time - whenever David does this live, the effects on the guitars sound completely different to the album version.

Definitely one of the best Bowie songs of all time.
