I grew up watching this with my mates. We all had our bright yellow warney cricket balls with the finger marks and instructions on how to bowl leg spin, unfortunately, none of us were as good as old Shane, still managed to produce the odd gem.

Um... do you even know what a diuretic is? While taking it was dumb (it IS against the rules) it is not even slightly a performance enhancing drug. It is banned from sports because it leads to weight loss (which matters in boxing and martial arts, but not cricket).
