She died in my arms as we slept together, right after I told her to go on and not stay here for me. I found the blog that you are referring to. It does mention that "it is about loosing someone" but we talked to him for a bit after the show about Brianna and as of the date of the recording, she is still alive.

WOW. WOW. WOW. - I had the chance to meet Natalie and Philip after one of their shows about six years ago and they are some of the most genuine and loving people I've ever met. You can really see their hearts through this song. I hope his new solo project does really well!
