I am a bit confused. By "levitating can trick" I expected it meant

Levitate : To rise into the air without any apparent means of support.

Trick: To fool my mind into believing something was happening that wasn't.

I didn't think it would mean "Balance a can on its edge" - in what way was I supposed to be tricked?

Anyway, I am off down the pub now to balance on one leg and convince my friends I am levitating - I'll have to wait until they are very drunk first though!
