  • can you make a tutorial please!!!

  • So clever you use the board to rise the plane

I finally realized how it works to help rising the plane after thinking 3 min

Maybe it's better to explain to others how it works

  • How did you do it?

  • I made foam gliders that were similar size flying wings (thin foam and balsa stick for ballust). They performed well but I didn't think of the surfing idea. Now I'm going to make some again! Also Google PRORAY.

  • thats called a walkalong glider

  • Nice design, Tazeus!

  • dude u can be a millionaire

  • this is a very sweet video you should make another and show how to make this exact glider ive never seen this flight technique ...very cool

  • how do you make it

  • It's hard to describe, but the key is to make it as light as possible, so you need to use light material and as little as possible, also use an airfoil in the wing (not too thick and not too thin) this will allow the glider to fly slow and have better weight to lift ratio.. I tried making long thin wings like on a real glider but it didn't work so well, and flew a little too fast so keep the wing long and of mid-thickness... you'll have a lot of fun through trial and error, some won't fly=)

  • @tazeus To make the airfoil did you just roll the phonebook paper?

  • @MiharuRokujo98 In a way yes.... what I did was, with a ruler and pencil trace the paper on the underside of the wing, 3 or 4 lines should be enough, this marks it. then it's easy to fold it on the line to the desired shape.

  • very smart using phonebook paper and supe glue to create a strong but light surfice.

  • Amazing! Can you tell us what experiences led you to come up with this?

    Slater

  • Slather , can I ask you if you know any way of making a walkalong glider that looks like a plane but without using carbon fiber, wood or tishue paper? Please answer, I have been looking for a way to make one that looks like a plane but I don't have the the materials needed.

  • Very interesting use of paper. I like the way you have strengthened the leading edges. I could never get the plain paper to be rigid enough and you seem to have solved the problem.
