By late 1997 the wcw were the established wrestling superpower and vince had to do something drastic and thus introduced the attitude era which involved blood, boobs and hell yeahs!!
Was anybody else a little disgusted hearing McMahon say how the WWF is all about the kids yet he would go to promote vulgarity, alcohol usage, and what could only be described as failed porno actresses eventually. And as much respect as I have for HBK's abilities and effort but his character wasn't exactly kid friendly either. Meh, sorry couldn't resist a rant. ^_^v
@Czah5: i definitely was, i was in the peak of my wresting viewing when this match aired...taped many monday night raw eps from the start in '93 to late 1995...1993-95 was my favourite era in wwf history...when the wwf was familiy friendly and used to promote superstars volunteering in make a wish, and the special olympics...
Dang this was entertaining to watch. Everyone sold their parts perfectly the whole way through and actually WRESTLED. Bret is so smooth in the ring and makes it look so easy and real and believable, and didn't even need the finisher to win. I miss these days!
As much as i love alot of other wrestlerse man, Bret hart really is the fucking best there is. The best there was, The best there ever will be. And i cant ever deny that.
chadcinco hbk aint bad at commentary as a matter of fact he was saying some nice things about bret lol bret smacked jeffs butt after he pinned him for the 1 2 3 bret is the only guy who can get away with wearing pink and look cool
