Is the Bible true? part one

The Bible says that humans are made of dirt.

And that snakes and donkeys talk.

And that insects have 4 legs.

And that bats are birds.

And that the earth is flat.

And that the sun revolves around the earth.

Does this stuff strike you as being true?

Me neither.

Just a book of Bronze-Age myth.

Christians claim that the bible is true because our world can't be created out of nothing. So then please explain where god came from. He must have been created out of nothing as well

@sneedledout The Bible says that God always existed. He never was created. I understand that we humans may think that if things came into existence by the act of creation therefore God must be created as well. Would it be possible that God has never been created?

Genesis 38:8-10 NASB

Then Judah said to Onan, Go in to your brothers wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother. Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brothers wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother

I believe the bible is true...God exists...life isn't just an accident...and we were created....our ego won't allow us to know that we can't be Gods ourselves...that there is only one God, one boss...that we can't be the boss...because isn't the world full of power trippers all wanting the power?....too many Chiefs, not enough Indiants....there is only one God; he is the sculptor and we are the clay..
