This movie touched my heart in a way no other movie has. I am American so the entire movie was in subtitles, but this didn't affect how much I loved this film. I was born 2 days after the Tangshan earthquake in 1976, & somehow this connected me even more to this story. I feel saddened to think of the horrible devastation that was taking place in a country far away, while my family had no concept of this since they were feeling great happiness over my birth & no doubt watching this event on the

That's exactly what the movie is about...

2 twins get trapped under the SLAB, their mother has to choose between only one of them to be saved, she picks the boy and the girl hears it... after they take both kids out, the girl is pronounced dead but regains her consciousness in a pile of dead bodies. Girl never decides look for her mother and twin brother, eventually ends up in a orphanage and than gets adopted by a officer that found her on that tragic day.

@michino1993 Spoiler Alert!!! Titanic only made some people cry at the end of the movie...this movie jerks tears from most viewers throughout the movie. So in that aspect, Titanic doesn't even come close although titanic's story telling was excellent and the CG was awesome. This movie may be the saddest movie of all time. Choosing one of your kids to live is hell for the mother and listening to that decision is unimaginably heart-breaking for the girl.
