  • Three things stick to my mind about Worf:

    1. 'Assimilate this!' (of course!), This is cool in that Worf was saying that phrase without any sort of exaggeration such as changes in facial expression and voice.

    2. Worf and his prune juice,

    3. Worf the Kingmaker. Gowron became the top dog because Worf had eliminated Gowron's competitor (Duras). Gowron's term expired because Worf pretty much gave Gowron the same kind of treatment Gowron's competitor had received previously.

  • And so, ladies and gentleman, Star Trek, a franchise that deals with peaceful exploration of not only planets, but also self exploration, deep motives, philosofical discutions and well developt and memorable characters, has officialy turned into a fast paced laser shooting action flict.....Gene Roddenbarry is rolling in his grave :D

    Sorry for my shitty english

  • Mo- Mo- Mo- Monsterkill!!

  • Worf=badass. That is all.

  • Didn't Picard say that the dish was charged with anti-protons and that a phaser blast could blow up half the ship?

  • @KingOfMadCows well the dish is detached from the ship in that scene so i guess we're fine

  • @dorfpomeranze Well it was a fairly large explosion, I think he meant that it would cause other things to explode from the damage and therefore blow up half of the ship.

  • That's got to be the one good Worf moment in the entire Star Trek Franchise.

  • one of my fav scenes in first contact

  • Michael Dorn 's Best Line!

  • Sounds so much better stoned. Saw this in the theater and almost pissed myself had to walk out in stitches.

  • "Assimilate this!" Sounds like something a human would say, but I'm not surprised at a Klingon saying it, either! KA-BOOOOM! Bye-bye, Borg!

  • A simmer light disc!

  • ASSIMILATE DEEZ NUTS!

  • triple kill!!....

  • Whenever I break out this line no one knows what I'm talking about. A shame.

  • Notice the Borg hand next to Worf.

  • @UltimateSpinDash he used it to seal of a hole in his space suit :)

  • @UltimateSpinDash he used it to tie his suit together when it got ripped. coz hes a bad ass.

  • @UltimateSpinDash Worf was using the arm he cut off from the drone that was attacking him as a tourniquet to repair the hole in his suit.

  • @UltimateSpinDash use it to tie up space suit

  • what did he say ?

  • Did anyone else hear the torpedo launch sound they threw in right at the very end?

  • @ThePCPhysician

    Yes, I. Funny.

  • this is what you do if ever you run into goy beorge and his tampon factory mother in a dark alley .... ass-gimpillate THIS fuk drowds !!! WHA HA HAHAHAHAA!!!!!!....i became a reiki master and am damn proud of it... and i'm in love with eminem ... feeling really good and on an upstoppable roll.... push aside those that live in the shitter i say !!!

  • @JeSuisMonAmiPourTu Charlie Sheen?

  • Hasta la vista, Borgy.

  • lol, Worf's attempt to create a famous one liner like arnie :)

  • @FiddyBigOnes - I'll be back ;-)

(although I think Arnie might not be back after his latest term)

  • @slvrspun Expect me to return later via the transporter.

  • One of my favorite moments in that movie...my other favorite is when the civilian sees Worf and gets a bit freaked out and he just says, "I am a Klingon."

  • @LaurentheWeirdo and dont forget data, 'greetings'... my fav

  • There should have been more emotion in his voice. He's a Klingon for crying out loud. Now he sounds more like a robot toy.

    Brilliant line though.

  • Best line ever? I think so :D

  • haha and that's why we love you, Worf

  • My brother mentioned this line when I fired the Cain weapon in Mass Effect 2. For those of you who have played, you know what I mean.

  • It is a good line, but it would have been cooler if he instead said, "Assimilate this, motherf***er!"

  • @sabster74 Worf doesn't need to swear to be cool or tough. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against swearing at all, but he's tough and badass enough on his own. He just cut off a Borg's hand and used it to tie his pressire suit shut for christ sakes lol.

  • Worf is pissed.

  • Kill it with FIRE!

  • Assimilate This! (BANG!)

  • The line was good but it had to be one of the least emotional lines I've ever heard him say.

  • Love how Worf patches his fucking spacesuit with a dead borgs hand. What a badass...

  • Badass :D

  • That Klingon really stuck it to the Borg.

  • Worf has the best one-liners in Star Trek.

  • i like the floating hand... best. movie.line.ever

  • Best line ever uttered by any actor ever. Aside from the classic line in Troll 2...

  • @0Genus0 which is???

  • Ahaha, worf laying the smack down on the borg. PWNT.

  • My favorite line when I'm driving.

  • @78kokka My favorite thing to say is "prepare for ramming speed" :p

  • I love this line. :) This is up there right along with "Make my day", "I'll be back", "It's not a tuma" and "Hasta la vista, baby"!

  • and yippie ki yay mother fucker

  • Braga got payed to write that line.

  • It is NOT about the first human contact with the Borg Collective! It is about the first human contact with the Vulcans...! Haven't seen it, eh? ;-)

  • @strippeltwo "Haven't seen it, eh?" Tell that to the people who watched "Inception" and still think that the term inceptions means a dream within a dream.

  • @strippeltwo

Well, technically it WAS human's first contact with the Borg, until Enterprise went and retconned the FUCK out of... well, pretty much every plot point in the franchise.

  • ahhh classic Worf! gotta <3 him =)

  • Wow. Worf has been dishonored. This shit plays too fast, and consequently, Worf sounds like a fucking chipmunk. Congrats.

  • Question: What star trek is this from?

  • First Contact (1996). It's the first human contact with the Borg Collective.

  • No it is not! It is the first human contact with the Vulcans. Haven't seen the entire movie, eh? ;-)

  • Take away all my Trekkie badges.. my Trek viewing over the years has been somewhat disjointed, so I sometimes lose track of what happens when.. although I have seen this one a couple of times (to the end).

  • @slvrspun damn straight, you lose all Trekkie badges. And hand in your phaser at the door too! :P

  • @locutus9956 - oh nooooo.. not the stun gun !! Can I keep the food replicator?

  • @strippeltwo Did you notice that earlier in the movie they said Romulans, but later said Vulcans? That's something me and mother still feud about. Well since when do Romulans say "Live long and prosper."!? More like "Fuck you and drop dead!"

  • @Zachariahmiester - I thought the Romulans and Vulcans had the same lineage before genetically diverging on different worlds.

  • @slvrspun No. The Romulans are "distant cousins" of the Vulcans, it is believed that they are what the Vulcans were in an earlier stage of evolution, savage, warlike, power driven, all traits that the Vulcans had before learning to control there emotions.

  • @slvrspun You're right, of course...

  • @Zachariahmiester: The mention of the Romulans early in the movie was regarding their potentially taking advantage of the Borg attack to cause trouble.

  • One of the best scenes.

  • How does their Faster Than Light Travel Work?

*I like shows that use Relative Velocity*

  • worf is awesome

  • Av it!!

  • Assimilate this, bitch!

    :D

  • Assimilate THIS! Great movie!

  • epic win

  • epic

  • the voice sounded all off

  • I'm surprised he didn't top it off with "I'll be back". XD

  • HAHAHAHAH best line ever! Fucking funny!

  • "Assimilate this!" Bang-Boom.... Picard "lol" Worf "uhg?" Picard "Explosions in the space" Worf "yeah LOL!"

  • Quite apart from the fact that you could not have an explosion in space because there is no oxygen to light the fire, why does it make noise?

  • Explosives don't need air.. although most of them have oxygen somewhere in the ingredients, but you're right about the noise - it shouldn't be there. In the case of an energy-beam weapon as in Star Trek, the energy causing the explosion is not supplied by a lump of chemicals but an unknown futuristic source from within the weapon. Either way, an explosion usually consists of a fast-expanding cloud of gas and when it hits you'll hear and feel it. It's the expanding gases that cause the damage.

  • Its not real life

  • Because it would be boring without it.

  • @hanshotfirst1138 Who cares. Next time you watch something with space battles mute it and fast forward over the explosion and tell me if its still as good without them.

  • I love you Worf!

  • First Contact...my favorite Star Trek movie...

  • Bwhahahahahaha. love it. I remember when I saw this at a midnight premiere- the entire audience just flipped out! heh

  • Stoned in the front row when this happened. I had been laughing hard but I almost passed out laughing and crying.

    Good times.

  • Marvelous. I was really hoping before I searched for it that someone else had thought of uploading this clip. This is so going on my homepage.
