bullshit. thats the same excuse that i always hear when some one cant play fast. buckethead is a virtuoso, obviously better than 95% of the guitarists on earth including slash. he must have been practicing for a very long time, he can play pretty much any kind of music, he can play slow as well (electric tears, colma, whitewash) but can slash play fast?
oh and by the way i do enjoy playing slash's songs.

it's not the original gibson Buckethead signature.the original is completely white (including the neck), it's equiped with open-coil hambuckers pickups and there's not a switch like the traditionnal Les pauls but a push-pull (or split) buttons on the Tone control.
you are right about everything else except the neck which is ebony, the headstock is white tho.
i played it at a guitar center but did not like it at all, especially the killswitches are really stupid, i mean whats the point in having two of them? the top one always gets in the way when tapping...

There's just no substitute for practice time. I also read that John Petrucci and John Myung (who went to High School together) practiced 5-6 hrs a day while attending music college. So there U go folks...:) Get to WORK! lol!!!
i definitely dont practice 5-6 hours, playing for that long everyday will probably cause carpal tunnel syndrome, i used to practice 1 hour max... i think its more important HOW you practice if you are not determined you wont get better even if you practice for 10 hours... now i dont use the metronome anymore (although i probably should) i play along songs and everytime i try to come up with new variations of the same lick and so on...

It's rare when one has the time (with all else going on in life) to devote so much to a skill or passion be it martial arts or music etc. I do enjoy playing abt 1-2 hrs a day. But this is after a 9 yr break without a guitar. But I'm now dedicating my time to scales and modes etc etc. I can't improve without it...playing by ear after a while..U reach a level that is static. The point was..no improvement without smart/properpractice. :)

@kouradoman I kind-of agree, the "new" G'N'R aren't the Real G'N'R, but i maintain that Buckethead and this solo are the best thing to come out of the new G'N'R, and to be fair Axl had a hand in writing those songs too. The old G'N'R are alot better, especially now Buckethead ain't in it anymore.

however it was a rough estimate as i said **ABOUT** 1 1/2 year, because until now i had never counted how many months i had been playing.
