  • What is called science by the *science-worshippers* of the present age and regarded by them as equivalent to the sum total of *reality*, is simply a collection of laws applicable to a single dimension of the world. The result of all human effort and experimentation is a body of knowledge concerning a minute bright dot comparable to the dim light of a candle-surrounded by a dark night enveloping a huge desert of indefinite extent.

All praise is due to ALLAH, the Lord of the Universe.

  • Does God exist?

  • @Tippersnore There is proof all around you that God exists!

  • que canción.... imprescindible en el rock

  • Thank you very much!Love, hope and peace for all...♥

  • God!This is divine!From heaven....

Jack, from Brazil, YES FAN ETERNAL♥

  • @JackAngelBlue

Best wishes for the Yes Fan from the another part of the world -

    Tbilisi, Georgia!

  • YES and EMERSON LAKE & PALMER

    Best of the Best .

    But...this song touch my soul.

    Thanks .

  • makes my cellular memories tingle.... i remember the stage decor on the original concert tour had some colorful Roger Dean style blobs. And yes.... The Lamb is also a masterpiece, especially having Brian Eno doing some of his magic on it.

  • This was a superb version. Must buy the Keys album!!

  • BRAVO!!!!

Sad that the Wakeman keyboard solos don't seem to have the same power that they did on early 1970s kit.

  • Maravilhoso ........Yes para sempre.

  • fantastic i was there

  • Amazing. This is what I lived during high school in the early 70's. It was an fantastic time.

  • I cannot stop listen this song, The revealing Science of God is the most perfect song of TfTO 5:12. They touched this song after 20 years, I wonder if some day they will put in agreement to touch my favorite Giants under the Sun

They have improved this part of the song 1:44 Mr. Steve Howe is the best forever 2:32 And inside the Rick solo, also there is a strophe that they cut, they have changed a bit the song, I am going to see if in Masterworks it is also

  • rick looks so much like jack nicholson in the moog solo at 7:00 and thats the first time ive seen him concentrating on his playing he has to much skill for paying attension

  • It's funny, Rick hated Topo in the 70's. He ripped on it in multiple interviews. I've seen more recent ones where is much kinder towards the record. I've always thought some of his best playing was oddly enough Topo and Tormato.

  • I know, but here you'd never think so, he's got the devil inside of him for sure

  • YES channels this great music in from the Higher Dimensions.. we are Blessed to have them on the Earth At this time.. Be thankful.

  • i agree with you! :)

  • yues is the best do not be ffooled

  • you cant beat jon and yesto put on the best zseeen then 33 times never disapoint GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • This song is wonderful!!!amazing!

    I love Yes...

    Jack,from Brazil

  • Do they ever play The remembering live?

  • I hope yes

  • This is a MUST HAVE on DVD. Watch it on a big screen TV with a great sound system. It's fucking awesome.

YES, along with other bands who do concept albums like Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, The Who, Genesis, and Rush will go down in history as the Mozart's of rock. No new band today can write material this in depth with so many variations and progressions within one song.

  • Genesis, Rush and The Who "? I do not agree, only Pink Floyd by his mysterious psychedelia, but the rest does not compare, and Jethro Tull has done nothing more elaborate than Aqualung and believe me... in my opinion it only compare with Fragile of Yes, but Tales From Topographic Oceans, Relayer and Close to the Edge are incomparable, invincible and immortal

    Yes forever!

  • You're too young to have a knowledgeable opinion about these bands. You say Tull hasn't done anything more elaborate than Aqualung? Obviously you haven't heard

'Thick as a Brick', or 'Tommy' by the Who, or 'Hemisphere's' by Rush. These are what's known as 'Concept Albums', and are very eloborate. They tell a story from beginning to end. Ask your dad to buy you these CD's.

  • Yes, thank you very much for the information, but my parents do not listen as old bands, just music from the 80s. I just discovered these bands for my musical talent, really feel the difference between good music and the most repetitive, commercial and even absurd. But for me, "Yes" is the father of music, no other band has songs as immaculate, as enlightened and as virtuous as this. The Tales from Topographixc Oceans is a true gospel, this album is like the bible of the music

    Yes forever!

  • Jeez, your parents only listen to only 80's music? You poor kid. You're to be commended on your musical taste since your parents never turned you onto anything worth listening to. I can see why you like YES so much. Their music is very spiritual. My favorite album of their's is 'Going For The One'. You should really listen to the albums I mentioned in my last post. If you click on my name and go to my page you'll see some old studio clips of YES working on the Going For The One album.

  • honestly I have no repudiation for the other bands, it's just that I do not understand why the great effort made by the musicians of Yes for making music so well developed and extensive as this or like the album Going for the One that you prefer, was not appreciated nor rewarded like other bands, that preferred not break the schemes of the progressive rock as the who, Jethro and pink floyd

Is as if people were blinded and could not appreciate the benevolence and the virtuosity of this music

  • you should check out the Italian prog band Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM). They don't sound like Yes (who does?) but I'm sure you would appreciate them. Also consider listening to the albums Mirage, Snow Goose, and Mirage by Camel.

  • you are uot of your lcrassy any boydy can play that shit

  • Don't forget THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY by Genesis.

  • the Lamb? that's an awesome album mate :-)

  • Well, that's subject to discussion cause you're giving only your opinion now :-) I do seriously think Jethro Tull has done made some brilliant stuff! Their accoustic work is amazing and don't forget Thick as a Brick! Went to a concert of them recently, they rock!

  • @Helicon2112

    I´d add ELP, wouldn´t you

  • FUCK YEAH WAKEMAN!!!!

  • holy shit... man i'm so pissed off that i wasn't alive for the tales from topographic oceans tour... i am 17 and listen to this album ritually. seriously, if i don't hear it at least 3 times a week (bare minimum) i'll flip out.

    LONG LIVE YES

  • Young Christians see it ...

    Old people feel it....

That's what I'm still saying after listening to YES since 1969. Get well soon Jon. May God bless all of you.

  • getting over wars we do not mean

    we join the movement suffers

    Brilliant and timeless.

  • I think...

this crystal that is rotating representing the transparency of this music

Because this music is healthy, heavenly and glorious, whose inspiration must have been something endearing to the composer...

I really love this music, really

  • concert is a very elegante, I would like someday to see one like this, live to see the yes gods...

    Mr. Howe forever!

I must have waited all my lives for this

    moment... moment!!

    ¡Yes!

  • Went to every concert I could get to for many years and was ALWAYS uplifted, NEVER disappointed. Always came back for more.

  • wow..awesome

  • I had the great and rare fortune of meeting Jon Anderson after a show on the Union tour in '88 and he said that this was his favorite album too. I was pleased to have known that before we met.

Thanks for the post, this sums up everything about why I still love the natural world.

  • A first-time listener, and, YES, I have to pay my respects. By cuttin' themselves from the rest of the world, they have mine respect, admiration, and adulation.

Tales, Going and Relayer are my favorite albums!!

    compositions from the heaven!

    ¡YES!

  • watching this was a great experience :) Tales is one of my favorite albums ever.

  • beyond words

  • Wow min 7 30 I remember having listened it so many times , poetry!

Where are the good bands today?

    Yes pure magic

    Cheers

  • YES was magic... they are magic !!!

  • Magnificant performance.. Also great work by the sound engineer. Terrific sound.

  • "Getting over wars we do not need . . . "

    Oh for that day!

  • That sucks that I had to click over at the best part :(

  • nice job guys...awesome i love them

    i m crazy my god

  • Magical!!!Awesome!!!

  • this is just amazing

  • Although I think Rick Wakeman is amazing, I also think he's a total dingbat for practically thinking Tales From Topographic Oceans was a waste of his time. What a shame! This album is so influencial to me as a keyboardist, and he wants nothing to do with it.

  • Is that Rick Wakeman? wtf, I thought he said he wasn't performing this album again

  • Wakeman's keyboards!! Oh wow, he didn't do that on the original album! And for me the production seems better live than on the album too.

  • Absolutely beyond the scope of most people on earth. You are lucky to have witnessed this music in your lifetime. I could die now and be forever happy!!!

  • You definitely won't see these comments on other songs or most other bands.

A couple, but not most. Hence, Yes's greatness.

  • Don't be guilty - I agree jdoget07...TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS RULES!!! My favorite Yes album ever!

  • A year ago i went to a Jon Anderson solo gig in small town in Holland. Jon told the audience that he is a big Yes fan himself.

'When i'm with the guys on stage, i'm in heaven!' Jon is a very modest and down to earth man.

  • Jon also looks like a man who's completely at peace spiritually. He looks like nothing's ever gotten him down in his whole life.

I love Rick's little riff at around 1:08, and Chris's chunky bass in the background really adds to the sound.

  • Thank You!! My friends and I in 1977/78 discovered this album. It just so happened that it coincided with our use of LSD and Shrooms to launch ourselves into the universes esoteric classrooms. This entire album is part of my soul now.

  • Yes is sounding better than ever been on this show!

  • oceans were mapped ...thanks

  • I am going to be guilty forever for saying this but TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS RULES!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy that you posted live material from the ultimate Yes magnum opus! THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

  • wonderful song...thanks for posting

  • Thanks for taking the time and putting this stuff up! Yes rules! :- }

  • The Time is Now.

    It's really my pleasure.

    Peace.

  • FIRST VIEWER! That's 3 times in a row!
