Mike is a sportscaster in Chicago. He is a tough guy with an amazing positive attitude. His days of playing football at Northwestern and six years of the NFL did take a toll on him but he makes no excuses. He was Adamle was team captain, an All-American fullback, Big Ten MVP in 1970, and the first Wildcat to rush for over 2,000 yards in his college career. Adamle's 316 rushing yards against the Wisconsin Badgers in 1969 still stands as a school record. A very decent human being.

I hate to say this but it must be said, Paul Heyman accidentally killed ECW. He made deals with two snakes ( McMahon and Bishoff ) and they both injected the poison in ECW. Heyman needed to make his company grow but he needed the big money. His only alternative would have been to let ECW die before it could grow.

ECW died the moment RVD and Sabu were caught with drugs. Notice how RVD lost both titles a week later? ECWWE V1 (Big Show - Lashley era) failed caused Vinnie Mac tried to kill it. After Benoit MS Vinnie Mac gave up and let people do what they want. Punk, Morrison, Miz and so many more were given time to shine and look where it has lead (mostly Miz/Morrison/Punk) too.

I actually always felt bad for Adamle, because he truly seemed to have great enthusiasm for the business and appeared to be a real fan of the show, but somehow was never able to get anything right. It was obviously his lack of knowledge of the business and of the art that is wrestling that cost him the most.
