the special edition of devil may cry 3 does work on the ps3 aslong as the gamecode matches the one on the compatibility list that sony released. the code for dmc3 SE is SLES-54186. This code can be found on the spine of the case or on the left hand side of the disk. Hope this helps

the reason for this? sony are useless programmers and cant get it to work properly. ill put it this way: the xbox was 2 - 3 times as powerful as the ps2, the ps3 is said to be twice as powerful as the 360 (debatable, another topic). microsoft have gotten nearly 400 of the xbox games to run on the 360, and are still working on it. sony, came up with a patheticly short list of games for the software emulated games, and gave up, then removed it from the european 40GB. nuff said.

DMC:SP works now but you can only get so far on mission 18 then when you get to the part where you have to fight all the bosses again you are unable to fight cerberus,Gigapede and Nevan. So you cannot finish the game it sucks like hell. I hope they bloddy fix this.
