He had surgery to remove a skin cancer lesion. A skin graft of his left cheek was necessary. It's hard to do that type of procedure without some facial nerve damage. John McCain is not a healthy man. We could go back and forth all day on this, so I'll be brief. Picking Palin was brilliant became it forced an examination of Obama's inexperience. McCain was right on the surge and to go into Iraq and he was willing to lose the election to win the war.

The U.S. economy has not been based on reality since the free trade deal with China. (Yes Clinton did that. Republicans wanted that but it is on Clinton's hands.) So now we depend on gimmicks like the 1990s D@TC@M bubble and the 2000s housing bubble. Even consumer spending is a sham as people have been using credit cards as ATMs. We should let the financial institutions fall and stocks and the economy will be based on reality again. There is a a candidate who is a independent individual who does not go along with a group or party. Like to the debate floor. But he's also know as the Maverick though. Taaaking shoots from everyone, never passes on a drink offer.
The Maverick "thing to do" next would be to go against your own party and recommend your supporters to vote for unity and get behind the landslide victory that shows hope for america for President Barack Obama in november 2008.

McCain has had a VERY BAD couple of weeks, and he has brought it all on himself when he announced for the umpteenth time that "the fundamentals of the economy are sound." It's been downhill ever since, this last little bit of political theater straining what little credibility he has left.

You will wait in vain. Obama struggled to come up a decent second to Hillery but he never looked stupid and he got in a few licks that got her steamed. McCain is not as articulate or as intelligent as Hillery, and his temperament is far worse. Obama has 26 years of needles to poke McCain with (such as "Hey good to see you actually managed to turn up to this debate, not like you did against Bush in 2000...") If McCain loses it on national TV its even more over than it already is.
