How does youtube/playing videos look on this? Is it the same as the first instinct (can't pause or skip)? I heard this has Opera Mobile 9.7, but does that have any effect on how it plays videos on youtube?

I currently have the Hero it''s pathetic. I'm on my way to the Sprint store now to exchange this hero for the Instinct HD. Hopefully it's a lot better than this Hero.

I would personally go with the Hero. It is going to have a 5 mp camera as well, so the camcorder quality can't be bad. Now it won't be HD obviously, but the Hero's internet capabilities are AMAZING!!!

If you mean Micro Sd Slot then yes, but if you really mean a sim card slot then no, it is CDMA only.

i bought this phone yesterday..im disappointed big time ! they have an youtube app on the phone but u cant play youtube vids !!!! also u cant play mp3 songs or ringtones..WHY IS THAT ???!!!!!!! for the price of this phone they should have included the hdmi cable & a car charger !!! Connection might be weak. Samething happened on my original M800. I don't know why, but it took a couple times, & a few reboots, & it worked after that, w/better streaming quality when on EVDO connections. 1XRTT will lower streaming qual. All cellphones list accessory contents on the outside on the box, so it shouldn't have been a surprise it didn't have HDMI or a car charger. MP3 is supported. You're either doing something wrong, or you have a defective unit, more likely the former.

It would lag over time. Initially it won't lag but with programs running it does.

Both the M800 and M810 did not have the light sensor. And the length is much closer to, if not the same as, the 800 (not the 810). It is wider than the 800 but not as much as the wider screen would make it appear.
