  • @nightwing2303 which do you recommend overall? the 6's or 7's?

  • @billyban09 watch his kobe 7 review

  • I just bought this shoe. Do you think I made a good choice, ima point guard and I like to run the court and what not, should I wear a brace with it because its so low? thank you

  • @WalshedHD really really good choice. kobe 7s' are trash. the price, the performance. it's just trash. but kobe 6s' are not so durable. don't use em off-court

  • @adobongsago allright i wasnet anyway. Thank you so much!

  • Hey I was wondering if the zoom Kobe 6 on Nike ID as durable as the regular zoom Kobe 6?

  • Nike store Uk £47 NOW

  • waiting for kobe vii review

  • im getting these tommorw

  • Question for everyone. Did you guys order/buy a half size bigger than your normal shoe size? I guess this would be a question that pertains to people with wide feet like myself. I tried on the shoes today @ Foot Locker and it felt fine, maybe a little close/tight on the sides of my feet. I'm worried if I order a half size bigger, the shoe will be to loose.... Any input is greatly appreciated. Also note, I tried on the Hyperdunks and I definitely needed a half size bigger.

  • Hey do u think these will be fine if i play witht them outside like 4 times a week for like 1 hour a day maybe like 2-4

  • @TeamAscendant - The traction doesnt hold up well outdoors but nikeid has an XDR option

  • @nightwing2303 what shoe do you recommend for dusty outdoor court?

  • do a review on kobe 7's

  • @hamid954 you can stay current with upcoming information on performance reviews by visiting sneakerfiles . com/oncourt

  • eastbay.com and use promotional code. I bought this shoe for a total of $96 original price is $130

  • where can i get those kobe vi's?

  • @phreshdude231 their called the kobe VI Black Mamba

  • @phreshdude231 - They came out over a year ago so you will have to search for them.

  • Wut wud u recomend overall the kobe 6 or 2011 hyperdunks??

  • @ne098 - I personally prefer the Kobe VI

  • kobe V or VI ?

  • @jmxrawr - I loved everything on the V except the traction

  • Do you know where I can buy a pair of Kobe 4 size 11?

  • @BRAZEN08 - You can try eBay

  • Are you gonna try to make a Nike Zoom Kobe VII (7) Performance Review?

  • @mikebalacy - Yes

  • how long will these last outdoors?

  • @windninja100 - I havent personally played in them outdoors but from those that I saw who did, they didnt last too long.

  • what are the color way of kobe 6 for you? except the grinches and asg

  • @nightwing2303 Would it be a good idea to get Kobe VI's since they are a low top? I've had multiple ankle injuries in the past and actually fractured it a couple of months ago. I actually wear ankle braces now whenever I play but I'm really intereseted in these shoes.

  • @hawkeye027 - It wouldnt hurt to try it. Just make sure you try them on in store with your brace on so you can see if they will fit you secure and properly before you buy.

  • What do u think about the new Kobe's? Do u think they will have better traction?

  • @ziaulsarker1 - I think they will be fine. I liked the traction on the Kobe VI and the VII looks to be even better.

  • @ghostrank007 - Thats weird... mine lasted over 7 months of play time including team games playing 6 days a week. Mine just started falling apart on the inside last month and I got them last Dec.

  • Hey I was wondering what has better traction the Kobe 6s or the 2011 hyperfuse

  • @ziaulsarker1 - They both have good traction. I liked the Kobe a bit more only because they covered the entire bottoms with traction.

  • Nightwing, do you suggest to place gel soles instead of the foam one's which aren't that good? I've already ordered my Kobe Zoom VI's and i'm just wondering how to break in at best.

    Cheers,

    TyKH from the Netherlands

  • @TyKH - I personally dont think its needed. It may change the fit of the shoe, which could either be good or bad. I broke them in by wearing them around the house (inside only) as much as possible prior to taking them out on the court. The insole does mold to your foot over time.

  • @nightwing2303 I received my Zoom VI and tried them on. I found the soles horrible, very stiff and actually hurting a bit. I changed them with gel one, and... beautiful. The shoe fit immediately and as you don't have to break in the shoe it magnificent. I trained that evening with the Kobe's and played very very well. There was no need for adjustment. So personally for the people who don't like the foam sole switch to gel because the gel will fit you foot immediately instead of the foam one.

  • @TyKH - Thats great, the part where you made them work for you lol. Everybody has diff foot shapes and all that so anything I say is just a personal experience.

  • Just wondering: WHat is the point of paying for a real one vs a fake one that has nearly everything correct except a few incorrect patterns? Are the real ones really worth paying an extra 50$ for based on QUALITY or do ppl want the real ones just because it's legit. I NEED HELP Cause i found Kobe IVs that i am 90% sure are fake, but they're only 80$ vs the 130$ for ones at footlockers. im fine as long as they look like kobes and have equal or close to quality

  • @mikeandikes3 - fakes have lesser quality in both materials and contruction. Glues arent as strong and the upper materials are cheap. Another issue is the fake shoes dont use the cushion tech found in Nike products. So you may be saving a little bit of money but they arent made with performance in mind... just to make a quick buck.

  • @nightwing2303 Thanks for your advice. So u think paying that extra 40$ is worth it if u want good performance?

  • @mikeandikes3 - Worth every penny! I will tell you right now, if you buy fakes... once they fall apart you will be kicking yourself for not adding the extra $40 bc you will be forced to buy another pair of kicks before you know it.

  • @nightwing2303 Thanks for the advice! ill definitley try to convince my dad to buy me the legit ones then. Also, do u think the Kobes are okay for outdoor play? I play highschool but in my free times i also practice/play pick up in an outdoor court.

  • @mikeandikes3 - The Kobe 4s are great outdoors and indoors.

  • I have always went with high tops personally. Do you think this offers good ankle support even though it is a low top?

  • @xthemike24x - IMO, ankle support is a myth. Lockdown and secure fit prevents an injury. The ankle is a hinge, hinges cant be supported... hinges offer motion controlled support like a door or car door hinge. With that said, these have prevented my ankle from rolling on multiple occations and the times where I did roll it, the shoe stayed as a part of my foot and moved with it not against it which ended up resulting in no injury.

  • How is the traction in the front of the shoe, since I jump off my toes, and I tried out the Lebron 9s and when I tried to jump I kept slipping.

  • @FatalERRORDude - Traction is great overall. Have to break them in a bit on the traction side but once thats done theyre great.

  • @nightwing2303 Hey the court I play on is very dusty and they don't wax it so I basically slip and slide. I am buying new shoes and I need good grip and comfort. Also I have a pretty weak ankle so yea. I either want this the hyperfuses and or the hyperdunks. Please respond, also great video keep it up !

  • @TheAirsoft4life - The only shoes Ive played in that have had no issues with traction on dusty floors has been the Kobe 4 and KD3.

  • i play the post ..are these good for all round

  • @passa - Kobe plays in the post just fine. Really depends on the type of post player you are though. If you need a lot of support the uppers may not work for you but if you like a secure fit, low profile and lightweight shoe these are great.

  • can u tell me , is traction pattern of 'grinches' durable ? thx

  • @MrLiverpoolfan89 - They have the same pattern so it should be fine. Since its a clear sole on the forefoot, it may collect some dust.

  • CAN somebody tell me why one of my pairs is shiny and the other dull

  • Do these shoes rollover easy? and if I have an ankle brace will it still fit comfortably?

  • @bvergis - I rolled my ankles in these a few times and nothing bad ever happend. I was saved by the fit and outrigger. They are lows so they are great if you wear braces.

  • *reccomend

  • So how would u recend to clean these. Like smell wise?

  • @MrGranters11 - When Im done playing I take my shoes off and as soon as I get home I place them in front of a fan with the interior of the shoe facing the fan blades so the air flows inside the shoe. Since Ive started doing that I have had any smell issues.

  • these or air jordan Q flights?

  • @JetLifeBroo - They are pretty much on point with eachother. I would give the Q Flight a better cushion rating though, everything else is comparable.

  • these or the hyperdunk 2011? outdoor use

  • @leapelite1 - Outdoors Id go with the Hyperdunks.

  • Can they be washed in a washing machine?

  • @MrGranters11 - No!!! Do that and you will ruin the shoe.

  • I just think thats a dope shoe.

  • @8BitKICKS - I agree!

  • Do you think the traction would last 6 months playing indoor courts?

  • @6ballslalom ne are still going strong and Ive have them since Dec. so Id say indoors, for sure.

  • @nightwing2303 ight thanks

  • what would you say are better kobe 5 or kobe 6?

  • @chippyjordinson - Kobe 5s fit is great, kobe 6 everything else is better.

  • @nightwing2303 which would you reccomment to get if im using them just for light training and shooting?

  • @chippyjordinson - Either of the two. Ive heard that many ppl love wearing Kobe 4-6 as training/ workout/ shoot around shoes. Id personally go with which ever is cheaper if I wasnt going to use as my primary hoop shoe.

  • Good outdoor shoes?

  • @3rickstar - I havent tried them outdoors so I wouldnt know. The traction wont last too long outdoor though.

  • is the best shoe for basketball in your opinion or the hyperdunks 2011 I can't decide which one to get.

  • @monkeysgonewild1231 - After playing in the Q Flights, those are my top shoe... all updates are found on my site, nightwing2303 dot c o m... I talk about all the things I find prior to making a video.

  • Can someone please tell me how the ankle support are these shoes??

  • these suck

  • kd2's are the best basketball shoes i have used to date.

  • ill stick to my fly byes

  • Should i use ankle brace with these shoes?I'm afraid of ankle injury.Ankle braces are very expensive in my country. Are these shoes' ankle support as good as hyperfuse? Please help me?

  • @DereMemo - I never had to use a brace, but if you wanted to for peice of mind then it wouldnt hurt at all. Lower cut shoes are better for those who wear braces anyway since you wont warp the fit on the collar with the brace.

  • @nightwing2303

Thank you,i've got one more question. Can i play in outdoor with these shoes?

  • Should i use ankle brace with these shoes?I'm afraid of ankle injury.Ankle braces are very expensive in my country. Are these shoes' ankle support as good as hyperfuse? Please help me?

  • i usually go half a size down in my basketball trainers cos i like that lock down fit but when i got the 2010 hyperdunks, they felt HORRIBLY uncomfortable once i started playing but in my hurrache 2k4s, they were great. what would you say about the Kobe 6's? should i go half a size down or should i stay true to my normal size?

  • @FazBlud1 - Id go with your true sz to avoid getting damaged toes. The material is thin and getting stepped on will happen, when it does itll hurt like hell lol.

  • is the ankle support good

  • @CornRehab - Ankle support is somewhat of a myth in sneakers. They have great lockdown once theyve molded to your foot. With the lower cut upper you have greater range of motion which is great for quick players and Guards.

  • JUST GOT THESE TODAY

  • @k2dakam - Nice!

  • do they feel narrow in the toe? if yes, do they feel better after breaking in? sorry for my english, I'm italian :)

  • @TheAfroMamba8 - I didnt think they were narrow. They fit my foot perfectly. The material will loosen up so if they are tight they should be ok once broken in.

  • @nightwing2303 because I have bought a pair of the blue camos size 10.5 (my normal size) and they just feel a bit narrow in the toe area...do you know if there is a difference between the upper material of the avatars and the del sol? I think so, because mine aren't as flexible as yours in the upper portion, maybe this is why I don't feel good at the moment...I hope they will get better.

    p.s. I haven't played in them yet

  • @TheAfroMamba8 - The longer you wear them the more they will loosen up. Try wearing them around the house while youre not playing them, it should help break them in faster.

  • @nightwing2303 ok, thank you very much for the advice :)

  • @nightwing2303 I played in them today and they just felt great from the very first moment and they also seem very durable, I'm so happy with my new shoes, they are very nice in every aspect, I couldn't have asked more ;)

  • @TheAfroMamba8 - Thats great! Glad you enjoy them!

  • @TheAfroMamba8 great shoes, even when I used them on concrete they did there job perfectly, no slippage, no ankle injuries no nothing, very very solid shoe :)

  • are these easy to sprain an ankle in?

  • @sharkhead08 - You can easily sprain your ankle in any shoe. I have not had any sprains playing in these.

  • should i get these or crazy lights? please help

  • @SuperPs3maniac - Kobes for me personally

  • @studentathlete10 - I would grab them for sure!

  • @studentathlete10 - I havent tried out the Hyperdunks yet but the Kobes are great.

  • jordan fly wades or kobe VI??

  • @MrDuckeduponquack - You are good to go with either one. If you prefer max air in the heel and a higher cut then go with the Wades but if you prefer low cut and zoom air go with the Kobes. They are both great kicks!

  • i wanna buy this shoe but i'm concerned about it's durability. i don't know if the traction can last 7 games outdoor a week? Right now i'm getting confused with the hyperdunk 2011, hyperfuse 2011 and the zoom kd3. Can u help me out i'm a guy sf who likes to slash and shoot pull up jumpers.

  • @JrbronII - Outdoors the kobe traction will wear down very quickly. I still play in mine but indoor only. If you want a durable shoe for outdoors, the KD3 is great as well as the soldier 3. Ive played in the Jordan 2010 outdoors and they hold up well too.

  • personally, I can't recommend these shoes!!! I never experienced any sort of ankle injury in my 18 years of hoopin...sure, the fit is nice & so they're comfortable. heel lockdown felt odd at the beginning but that feeling changed. also, traction is pretty good on a cleaned floor.... so I gave them a try, 3-4 practice sessions...and just today I sprained my ankle pretty badly...big ball on my ankle right now as I'm typing these lines...I would prefer ANY of my previous sneakers over the Kobe 6...

  • @pdao - Thats a bummer man... Ive been playing in these since I bought them and havent had one injury. How did it happen? Did you land on someone?

  • @nightwing2303 I was slashing from the right wing, planted my left foot ready to do a hop step and rolled it... I've played in all different types of shoes and never sprained anything.. from the Lebron's 1,3,4 to AND1 TaiChi mids and lows, Jordans 1,2,3,4,7,8,12,22, the Melo 5.5(favorite Nr1), Nike BB I+II, some Shox models to the Hyperfuses(favorite Nr2)...list goes on... KB6's are really the first shoe I experienced a severe ankle sprain in... maybe it was just bad luck

  • @pdao - Sounds like you may have planted it wrong or put too much pressure on it before the foot was stable... but I dont know for sure since I wasnt there lol. I do hope that it heals up quickly so you can get back out on the court though!

  • how is the durability of these shoes? do they last for long by playing indoor? thanks :)

  • @TheAfroMamba8 - I still play in mine all the time. They have held up great.

  • Adizero crazy light orr Kobe Vi 6

  • @sasuke786khan11 - Kobes

  • thoes are the best shews ever

  • @xxxxkevxxxx3 - One of the best for sure.

  • hey should i get these the lebron 8 ps, or the jordan play in these f all black im trying out for my middle school team.

  • @monkeysgonewild1231 - Depends on the type of player and what youre looking for in your shoes. For max cushion the lebrons are the way to go. For light and lfexible shoes the kobes are great. The Play in these FTF are not really my type of shoe but they are a good mid level hoops shoe for sure.

  • @nightwing2303 , bro , why didnt you tell about heel slippage ? i feel not heel lockdown at all , i just cop the black ones del sol , hope it wont be an issue on the court , but i V's the lockdown was way better

  • @THCbaku - There was no heel slipping in the shoe for me, otherwise I wouldve said something. Make sure you get your shoes in your proper size, from heel to toe length, and that will help avoid the issue. I still wear my kobes 6s to this day and they are one of the best shoes Ive played in.

  • @nightwing2303 Ok ok i rushed my opinion , cause when i first time laced them i felt little slipping of my hell when going up , yesterday on court it felt fantastic cause i was like a spring - jumped faster for rebound and other stuff. I must say the same thing - the best shoes i ever hooped in till date. My Friend got FlyWades , mayby they are slimm better from Kobes 6s , but Kobes look a lot better for me ! I'm rockin the Del Sol and i am extremly happy. Keep up the great job man !

  • @THCbaku - Happy they turned around for you!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @nightwing2303 can you wear ankle braces in the kobe 6?

  • @StillBalla - Yes, they wont warp the shape of the shoe either since they are lows. I dont usually wear braces unless my ankle is injured and I would hate how it would mess up the fit of my mids and highs so if you wear a breace with lows youll be good.

  • @nightwing2303 ok so you think the kobe 6 wouldnt get mesed up by the braces... thank you for the fast answer how can i support you ???

  • @StillBalla - They shouldnt, the inner liner may get a little frayed if the braces have velcrow but it wont do anything horrible. You are a subscriber & watch my vids so you already support me!

  • @nightwing2303 ok damn that really helped me thank you very much ! I think wearing mid or high tops is bad espacilly with ankle braces.. so kobe 6 would be the way to go for a fast ppoint guard ?

  • @StillBalla - I play quick and low to the ground, the kobes have done me well thus far. I dont mind high tops but when you add in a brace it does tend to warp the fit esp at the ankle areas which is a bummer.

  • @nightwing2303 thans a lot bro

  • @nightwing2303 i hope so man. from the previews they look awesome to play in. i could care less about looks.

  • @oDDmahnsta - Agreed!

  • U a point guard or a shooting guard?

  • @AlexTheNinja313 - Both

  • U a point guard or a shooting guard?

  • BEST KICKS I EVER GOT!

  • @AlexTheNinja313 - I love mine too man!

  • i want the kobe vi, but it runs a little narrow. and if i go a half size up there's too much space in the toe area.. just got fly wades which were real nice, but i still want to have a quick light shoe on deck.

  • @oDDmahnsta - The Kobe 7s should be out soon enough, maybe theyll make the uppers a bit more flexible so more ppl with diff foot shapes can wear them.

  • Do they get slightly bigger or should i go and change to a size 10.5?

  • @AlbaSoldier09 - Have you tried wearing thinner socks? Its possible you may just laced them up too tight and are cutting off circulation since the tongue is so thin. I would say that if the legnth fit is good then try to keep them on your feet (indoors incase you need to return them) for as long as possible to try and resolve the issue, if nothing changes then go back and swap for another pair or a larger size.

  • @nightwing2303 Youre right, I might have laced em up to tight, ill try walking around with them indoors for a few days before I decide whether to return them or use them to play basketball indoors.

    thanks for the help nightwing!

  • @AlbaSoldier09 - No prob man, good luck!

  • I just bought these with size 10. Usually I buy Basketball shoes with size 10.5 but when I tried the zoom 6's my heel kept sliding up when doing a jumping motion (might have been because of bad socks) so I got the size 10's instead.

Now I've been walking around with them for about an hour and my foot started feeling like it was pumping blood? (Can't find a better explanation) and im starting to worry that its because theyre too small even though neither my toes or heel are hurting.

  • i got the silver- white ones.

  • gud review. just want to ask if which the best for me jordan fly wade, adizero rose 1.5, kobe 6,air jordan 2011,air max fly by, or the lebron 8 ps? i'm a small forward who likes to shoot jumpers, post up, and slash through defenders. thanks for the review

  • @JrbronII - The Fly Wade are great all around performers. The Fly By will be good if you dont need forefoot cushion. The LeBron 8 PS are nice but you may have some slipping issues when you do cut or curl. Kobe 6s are my fav but some are scared to use a low cut shoe, Im small and quick so I prefer the lower cut which allowes for greater range of motion for my ankles. Havent used the Rose 1.5 but Ive heard they are good shoes. Hope that helps!

  • im a player dat does alot of cuts, nd dese shoes are really low cut, shuld i wear a ankle brace when i play in dese

  • @lil0iverson8npyb I do a lot of cuts also, but i reallt didnt have any issues with the ankle.

  • did your insoles peel? btw, great review

  • @TheHardWood19 - No they havent, thanks!

  • Could you, if you wanted, play outdoors with these shoes? Or would this wear the bottom of the shoe more? Also can you play with the fly wade's outdoors?

  • @Brochill77 - You may be able to, I havent tried. The traction will wear donw very fast since there is very little coverage of traction on the shoe.

  • @nightwing2303 Ok thanks for your response. I love your videos, keep them coming

  • @Brochill77 - No problem, thanks!

  • @nightwing2303 And one last question for you..... would you recommend the kobe 6's or the lebron 8 v2's in terms of style and performance?

  • @Brochill77 - Style wise I like the V2. Performance wise it really depends on what youre looking for... max cushion, light weight... they are both very good hoop shoes though. Prob two of my favs from this yr.

  • @nightwing2303 Ok thanks again. And now I have just about one last question for you. Also in terms of style and performance where would you rank the air jordan 2011's?

  • @Brochill77 - I love the 2011s look, reminds me of the AJXI. Performance I would give it to the kobe or lebron based on the fit. If you wanted a Jordan shoe the Fly Wade was better than the 2011.

  • @nightwing2303 Ok thanks good to know. But based just on looks would you recommend the 2011's, fly wade's, or kobe 6's?

  • Would these be good volleyball shoes

  • @lukespari - Indoor yes.
