There is actually a VST called RealGuitar made by MusicLab. It is really good for making acoustic guitar sounds. You do probably need a midi keyboard though. Helps a lot!

Not only does it make it harder to pay the developers, people paying is what makes the updates free and keep the developers busy to make new sounds.
