there are many industries without unions, in my case, restaurant/bar workers don't have a union here in oregon. i've tried, on a few occasions to start one, in earnest, but i couldn't get people to really get behind the movement.
bigpeter --- if that is true, then organize a union. there is no limit as to where unions can be. :)
