@crazyjorge2111 I bet you weren't even around in the 80s and if you were and you're sitting here saying that you must be brain dead. everything about the 80s was better than today except for the internet.
haha. Up my ass? No thanks, old man. If you used spell check I'm sure it would correct you with your grammer and capitalization! You can't spell for shit!
Excuse me? I think you're the one who needs to go back to school since you didn't type a supporting sentence after your stupid comment "DONT BUY A VIZIO, Without a ' in don't. You shouldn't be talking about "going back to school" when you clearly cannot spell.
I have one very important question, is this TV 120hz, and do you experience any lag or motion blur that might disrupt your true skills in Halo? Please help
Plasma's perform well over 120hz, I mean, way over 120hz! The response time is around .5MS on plasma displays. Essentially, the same as what your get from a CRT.
As for LCDs, if you want that kind of performance, you're going to have to drop some big cash. My father had bought me a Westinghouse 32" LCD HDTV a few years ago for Christmas, with a 8MS response time.
I would go for a plasma HDTV over a LCD HDTV anyday. At least until the tech in LCDs get up to par and cost cheaper.
Response time is good on CRT's, but the refresh rate is a different story. Have you ever video taped your CRT, then viewed the video? You can see the screen refreshing itself.
And to whoever said their tv can play in 1080p is wrong. All of the vizio tvs have a down conversion feature which alows them to take a 1080p signal and down convert it to the vizio's native resolution.
It was that and the lack of deep blacks that convinced me to return the tv. However for the price and size there really isn't very many tvs that can compete with the vizio plasma.
I've had the Vizio plasma for about 2.5 months and it was an okay tv. The Vizio does have burn in but the problem lessens as you use the tv. The tv actually only plays at about 680p due to its pixel count and the tv looks awful when you hook up a computer to it.
have you gotten any image burning or retention on this tv? im between this and the vizio 32 lcd. ive heard that burning isn't really an issue anymore, but i still am worried abaout it. it looks like you play alot of 360, which is what i will primarily be doing. just wondering if you've noticed anything with this particular model.
Great price. at walmart the 32" plasma is $518 and the lcd is $547. both of these are great buys but i have heard better things about the plasma. Only thing bad i heard was that the sound quality is bad because of the small speakers and there is a minor burn-in problem but it is fine after u break it in 100 hours. Also it is very hard to find a plasma tv this small so u might as well go with vizio cause they are ur only choice for the price. This tv is the best u can get for less than $600
So how long did you "break-in" your tv before playing games on it? I heard that minimum 100 hours of break-in time before playing games on it and watching widescreen movies(black bars will get burned in to screen) How many hours of break-in time should I give my tv? And how long can i keep a still image on the screen before it gets burned in?
image burn in takes awhile but like emerica said give about 100 hours or so i just started playing games out of the box with mine though still no problems oh and it does go 1080p regardless what the box says just hook a 360 or ps3 to it with a hdmi other high def cable it looks fantasic
I should be getting this tv in 2 days or less. I have a toshiba hd dvd player(yes...HD DVD PLAYER lol) and a surround sound system. Is the tv worth the $547.00 or is it a waste of money? I hope its good because i already ordered it with my visa card. I got the 2 year extended warranty and so are the graphics good?At walmart they looked marvelous. How do you feel about the tv? Any negatives about it? Im just wondering what to expect when i get it.
very good tv ....with it's many hdmi ports it allows pest picture quality....and it's a Plasma so it's good from all viewing angles ...(like if your on the floor or side angle).
do u have burn in or image retention problems with this plasma tv because im probably gonna buy one soon

@coolbluelights I admit the 90's were awesome. But the 80's sucked. The only good thing about the 80's was the music.
