  • Is it girl or boy?? He/she needs to take more classes)

  • take some more classes

  • you need to be careful, with what ive seen here

you are going to hurt yourself

  • Okay, here are some tips from an older dancer. Never ever dance on a carpet you could easily fall and hurt yourself. Also never step up on pointe that's a terrible thing to get in the habit of. How many times a week do you dance? You should also try practicing in your ballet clothes. Hope this helps!

  • En pointe* ;)

  • your not supposed to dance on carpet.

  • u should work on ur arabesque, cause ur foot is higher than ur knee. x how old are u?

  • it looks like your shoes arn't shaping to your feet right, but i like the video:)

  • @cpayne4ever I guess those shoes aren't broken in. maybe they're new?

  • idk, you dont look like the ballet type, you look more like the soccer type?

  • @Omes8are8cute i am a soccer player too

  • she looks happy to be on pointe! and if you like it then dont listen to those people saying this isnt ballet. of course it is!

  • She really is good im not on pointe yet but they do look a little wide and 1) She can hold onto anything she probably doesnt have a barre so anything at just below the chest line will do

  • For how long do you take classes, your teacher cannot let you dance on pointe shoes.

caus youre not so good at it.

  • @ASLCheck ... What, so now all ballet students should be good at dancing on pointe shoes from the first moment they start?? Right... She is LEARNING!

I don't get why it's necessary to put people down like that.

  • @annevanleeuwen1 Dankje.

  • @annevanleeuwen1 I understand how you feel, but I think most people are trying to help here. But yes, some people are really just mean and spitful. I dance pointe, and I wish people had told me so many things I was dong wrong when I first started, it keeps you safe. My own advice is not to cross your working leg over too much in coup de pied. You look over the box, and that's fantasctic!

  • @bec901 you have a lot of potential; I wish people like; @silly101pom, @ilovepointe134, @chrsbrown100 would not try to disincourage you. Please do some plie roll thru's, and releve, plies, and (do plies on pointe) Rate up? :D

  • does t hurt if it hurt dont force your self

  • what is this.. this is not ballet....

  • make sure u get over ur boxes

  • I dont know but you have very masculine legs :P

  • sense when is this crap ballet all ur doing ballet is echpe

  • que porra e essa

  • AHAHHAHAHAHAH

    omygosh

    do you call this ballet?

  • why are you on carpet?

  • bij dat eerste,, als je je voet neerzet, denk er dan aan dat je je achterste voet coupé dan netjes doet, en minder lomp!

  • wow you need to practice more

  • you cant even see your arch

  • are your shoes fitted properly? it seems big around the arch?

  • Why again? Injury?

  • You're holding onto things! Thats cheating!

  • no its not , she's on carpet. its called being sure not to break your ankles. lol

  • @ilovelarryplatt What's a barre for, then?

  • think about your performs

  • i dont think your ready for pointe.

im 12 and ive been on pointe for 2 years.

try to work on your turnout and arch almost everyday and youll become a beautiful dancer.

  • well done!

keep practising! and try to practise turning without the wall.

dont give up. your doing a great job!

  • You have great legs! but you don't look ready for pointe, carpet is not good but you have pretty much no arch at all. Sorry, not to be mean, u have a good foundation but i think u need more strengthening first x

  • TURNOUT.

  • u need more space :)

  • Can peeps tell me if my feet r ready for points...? I have a vid on my site...!! My teacher says i might be ...!???

  • yeah... i did ballet when I was 2. im on point aswell. its way cool!!!!!

  • i'm 11 and go in ballet. I have go when i was 5-years old girl. But yeh, you should dance in a bigger room than, youre room. But nice video!

  • keep breaking in !

  • carpet isn't the right underground

  • that and it ripped up the bottom of my shoes. Try a smaller echappé into second it will help you get up on your block better. Not being on your black makes it easier to sickle your feet which in turn can cause sprains, strains and even breaks. You want to be on your block always. And try not to jump en pointe, it can also cause you to sickle and hurt yourself (carpet doesn't help you to not jump). Hope this helps, I'm nto trying to be mean, just a little insight always helps

  • now i know this was a year ago, but i've been dancing en poointe for about 4 years now. I would suggest waiting to learn some more proper techniques from your teacher before trying stuff at home. This more for any girls new on pointe who may decide they want to do this as well. Pointe is something you should practice with your teacher there. If you want to remember your exercises do them in soft shoes so you get the idea. Also please never dance on carpet. It is bad for your shoes. I used to do

  • wow u ppl r some real jerk offs!

  • you shouldnt dance on carpet

  • @dancinforever11

    I hate carpet.

  • yes, really make sure your getting fully on those boxes :)

  • your not going fully onto your shank properly, and those arms! please fix them, otherwise, for a beginner, pretty good, but please practice some more to perfect it

  • You ankles look a little shakey. You should work on getting that stronger.

  • yes please do somthings with those arms. it looks very odd to have them bouncing when balerinas are supposed to be gracefull

  • Make sure you do something with your arms so they arent just flopping there

  • interesting 5th postition at 0:18

  • You spelled 'pointe' wrong..

  • do u take ballet classes?

  • sweetie please dont jump your going to break your ankle or toe.... and no more bad music for you.

  • I totally agree with you. She sucks on ballet and should get back to the 1th ballet school year. Take classes of "How To Dress" "Were to Training" and a lot more... Ah! Also "Listenning Quality Music"

  • you should tuck your bows in XD

  • Work harder on your turn out, and I would advise wearing tights when wearing pointe shoes. It helps keep sweat from deteriorating the shoe.

  • try not to jump up to your full point, and you r never on point fully in echappes (spelling?)

  • very good only thing is, ur not a full pointe wne u do ur shasays lol if i spell it right

  • i dont think ur pointe shoes are the right fit for you

  • thanks

  • ur welcome :)

  • @bec901 what brand are your shoes?

  • 0:36 cant u see shes a girl and shes very good with the foot work and dont judge me cuz im nine and im not in ballet not even a beginner so i think shes a wonderful dancer

  • u guys leave her alone shes beutiful young and if shes not in ballet classes atlest feel like 1.

  • u have very strong calfs...

  • try not jump on to pointe.

  • around 0:18 your right ankle turned in i have that problem some times too keep trying!!

  • your shoes are nearly dead and u dnt look as if u have a lot of techniques u really need to ull up and got onto your box. NEVER DO POINTE ON CARPET u could hrt yourself

  • I dont think you are ready for pointe. You need to work on your ankle strength because it seems you're a little worried when you go en pointe that you will fall, which is only natural. But i feel you are not ready yet. Maybe I am wrong. you just need to work very hard on technique.

  • aaahhhhh you should not be dancing on carpet and your shoes dont even look broken in

  • why all the holding onto things? you should really only have to hold onto things if you've started pointe within the last few weeks, in which case you shouldn't be doing exercises like these. and GET OFF the carpet! not good!

you definitely should have to hold on to the dresser for an arabesque..

  • Comment removed

  • never do On pOinte on carpet you could hurt your ankle!

  • how long have you been on pointe and never do it on carpet.try not to hold onto the wall for balance you should be able to do it on your own

  • Wow, u have nice leg. Have u been your so muscle calves only by ballet?

  • what u r doing is wrong..

    never on carpet..

    shoes dont fit

    but u heard it all

    no no no

    sorry =/

  • Comment removed

  • this is a hot mess your going to hurt yourself

  • Haha!

    You said hot mess!

    I would totally give you a hi-5!

    Haha :P

  • get more on your boxes and don't do pointe exercises on carpet.nice muscles and video, though.

  • Wow your muscles in your legs! I love them!

    xx" Subscribe mines 2!

  • what song is that and by who?

  • ur shoes r WAY TO BIG!

  • i think the music is a little fast for the echeppes lol, but good work

  • when u do a coupe back dnt put it too high... dnt sickle your feet.. turn out more... dnt forget to staighten ur knees.. and dnt drop ur knee for the arabesque... :D

  • your shoes aren't the right size

  • you definitly need more training before you hurt yourself!be careful!!

  • turn out from your hip (all the time), straighten your legs, weight to your big toe, weight centered in the middle of the foot while standing, pull up your knees, dont put pressure on your arches... get over your box, don't jump echappes or sous sus, and dont dance on carpet... you're going to break something or "f" up a ligament... take more class!

  • u should get a little more training before u hurt yourself!!!

    LauReN

  • ur sickling ur foot sometimes...

  • pretty good.. as everyone else said-- don't do pointe on carpet! haha.. it's not good for your feet.. it puts a different pressure on your feet than a hardwood floor does and it can be veryyy easy to injure your ankles and do permanent damage to your feet!

  • Get on your blocks more, and its bad to do poine on carpet, you will wreck your shoes

  • omg i love your legs, i want them lol

  • on your eciapues don't jump onto pointe its bad for your ankles, try to keep your legs straight and please dont do pointe on carpet thats a big mistake...keep workin g on your turnout and keep doing ballet its very good for you

  • i have a question why is it bad to do pointe on the carpet?

  • when your going to releve..rememeber to hold your arms in place..it helps to balance..and pull up out of your boxes..it looks like you're a bit shaky on your pointe shoes..maybe try doing some strengthening exercises

  • good, but turn out and GET ON YOUR BOX MORE!!!!!

  • I agree you need to do a bit of work on your turnout and your arches, but you're going really well. :]

  • Good job, but work on your turnout and please don't go en pointe on the carpet or over a bent leg. Otherwise, really good job.

  • ok?!? (please speak english on my videos)

  • Tes pointes paraissent énormes par rapport a tes jambes !!

  • Je suis d'accord :P mais c'est peut etre juste tes pieds qui prennent cette forme.

  • cool at wat level can you get your pointe shoes?

  • If you're doing the Royal Academy of Dance [RAD] syllabus, then you go on pointe at Grade 5. Either way/if you're not doing exams, your teacher will assess when you're ready; if you're using your abs, inner thighs and ankles well and if you're physically strong enough then they'll consider whether you're ready for pointe. :]

  • ok 'cause i really want to do pionte but i don't go to ballet schools like that i go to ballt lessons.

  • dispite my critical comment on ur other video i notice you have very good turnout (y)

  • Your shoes are too big, did you get sized? For your first year, you're not bad. You should really work on control. Don't forget to go over your box even when you are moving quickly. You're setting yourself up for an painful memory of not doing it the right way. Carpet will never help anything either. Good luck in your growth!

  • Your over your box real good but u need a little more practice

  • Can someone tell me why you cant do pointe on carpet? Does it ruin the shoes or something?

  • I don't think it ruins the shoes [at least, I've never heard that] but it's just a bit pointless really because of the carpet's texture. I don't really think it's dangerous but I suppose it depends on your carpet.

  • dont worry its really easy once you get used to it!!

  • ...ehhh ballet looks hard :( im scared to join now XD

  • O___O HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE SCARY LEGS.

  • Looks Good :D One comment : In your pas de bourees (sp?) Is that the word ? Well the one you did at 10 second - my teacher always tell us not to lift out feet up too high - halfway up the leg ??

Anyway - I'm just beginning pointe and maybe they do it differently in Russia (where my teacher comes from) ?

Overall amazing though :D Just trying to be helpful - not mean

    <3 Well DONE <3

  • You probably don't need anymore critique, but I'll be postive! The shoes look a tad large, try not to fo this on carpet, and try to keep your legs not incredibly bent when you go up en pointe. :) Wonderful for your first year back, though. :)

  • good

  • hmm.. i think you need some work, and those shoes are horrible. But you are really good for your first year of pointe :)

  • u need to bin thoughs shoes cos they are horrible. work on your turn out

  • thnx :)

  • woo go bec :P

  • that was ok do u know any good shoes that are really easy to break in?

  • thnx balletmeisje for the comment and skykai125, i did it on carpet cause it was in my room!!!

  • that doesn't make any excuse for you danceing on the carpet!! I dance in my bathroom, but i need to start practicing on WOOD!!

  • why on carpet???

  • your pointes don't lood broken in at your heel. And I think they don't look that great on your feet. But your dancing is great!

  • I only started this year on pointe, how about you?!?

  • that was really good. how ol are you? and when did u start dancing. How long did it take you to get en pointe?

  • finally, you have made an account that works!!! Thnx for the comment!!! Put on some videos, and then we can put another jumptsyle vid on!!

  • bec!! love the point vid!

    u r my sxc bexc!

love it keep up the good dancing!
