Pearl harbor is NOT a good reason to end hundreds of thousands of civilian lives. The atomic bombs were not dropped in revenge for pearl harbor, because president Truman and all his supporters were NOT genocidal tyrants hell-bent on revenge. When the atomic bomb came about, it was seen as a way to end a long and taxing war. It was a tragedy and we simply CANNOT allow anything like this to ever happen again.
