Love it! It's a Sunday night in January 1978, it's cold and damp outside but the fire's blazing in the grate, and here's a chance to snuggle down in a huge armchair, escape for 45 minutes and enjoy lovely animals and lovely people.
For anyone who wants to go back, GOLD is currently repeating this series (June 2011).
I meant he composed some incidental music tracks that were reused in Prisoner, but originated in UK shows..The Theme tune to Prisoner was composed by Allan Caswell and sung by Lancashire lass Lynne Hamilton..And the words start with ''He used to give me roses, I wish he could again..But that was on the outside and things were different then'' LMAO because I used to think it started ''Feels to give me roses.''
Very talented composer Johnny Pearson, he devised a few theme tunes i believe and incidental music for shows like The Sweeney and used in other programmes like early episodes of Australian women's drama Prisoner.
@DaveyC95 ahh prisoner cell block h . he used to send me roses , i wish he would again , but that was on the outside , and things were different then :) . yeah lovely tune on all creatures
I have to resist the temptation to make a very bad joke about the Minister of Magic!!!
