  • Very Similar to the United Arab Emirates older style meters, nowdays they use a digitial meter which has an LCD which is in (perfect) arabic....

  • Just out of interest, How many turns does the wheel need to make, so that the meter registers one kWh? That's either a high-revving meter you have there, or you're going to get one massive electricity bill! Look at it go!! What was being loaded on the meter when you filmed it? Do you know how many watts were being pulled to make the meter go that fast?

  • The meter disc constant is 375 revs / kWh. The load varied between 7 and 62 Amps at 220 Volts. About 13.6 kW.
