Freedom of the press was put in place by our forefathers in order to keep or government in check, not to allow government to use as a stage to spread propagada. America is in a U.H.F. television renaissance. For example, political discourse prevalent on A.M. talk radio and network television has sunk to the level of old U.H.F. programs such as HOT SEAT, where antagonistic host Wally George ranted and raved about topics of the day. FOX NEWS CHANNEL, while not the only U.H.F.-level garbage, is the worst of the bunch.

yall should try watching FOX news instead of repeating what ur liberal news stations feed u. Apparently 2 u guys "right winged trash" and "misconceptional lies" mean putting the truth out. They hack at liberals and conservatives alike and put out ideas that have been proven throughout history 2 work. Plus, they show how other ideas either have failed, are failing, or will fail based on facts- many of which they get from historical events. If u dont like FOX, fine. But at least be lookin 4 truth

The only problem I have with fox news is that it is a network with a right wing agenda disguised as news.
The first amendment is probably the greatest thing we have in this country but I feel Fox is using its platform to push its ideals with misinformation and it is tearing this country apart.
There should be some sort of disclaimer stating that the views in their programs are opinions and not facts. I don't know it just seems like fox harms the country more than it helps.

I have, however, seen rabid Libs on MSNBC lying through their teeth on a daily basis. But hey, they don't harm the country, right? I dare you to find one clip of Fox saying anything of this nature about George W. Bush's presidency. Fact is Fox News was like a cute little lap dog for the white house during Bush's entire term and then they go to a vicious attack dog as soon as Obama is elected.
As far as MSNBC is concerned yes they are left of center and I don't particularly like any of the cable news channels.
What I don't like is a news station calling a democratically elected President a communist/socialist/nazi.
