I really needed to hear this tonight and didn't know it until I felt the first tear. I've been feeling all kinds of emotions since My Mom passed two years ago and this being the 2nd year since her passing so I'm still feeling the sorrow of her passing and needed to hear this song to remind me that God can turn my emptiness into fullness once again. It's songs like this I need to hear when I feel like I will never feel happy again that God reminds me that I will.

This song (and book) have had a huge impact on me as I struggle to overcome hurt from an abortion I had, as well as self-injury and eating disorders. Through it all, God has been waiting for me to turn back to Him and let Him have control and turn me into beautiful. I am now serving young girls in my church and I have shared this song and its message with them because I want them to always know how much their Father adores them, loves them and how he wants to change their lives for the better.
I struggled with abortion for years, but one day He delivered me from my pain and now I can speak of it with no guilt or shame. Every year I had to listen to our church talk about abortion because they support a local pregnancy center and I finally just surrendered and thought if I have to listen to this every year because of my sin and feel guilty, then so be it. But, Yahweh, said, NO, you have been completely forgiven from the death and resurrection of my Son. LIVE is His freedom!! Shalom.
