why do they run holding thier child? My what if they dropped them. thats the only thing that disturbs me. Tell me.. why is this traditon important to them.
I can understand it will be shocking for someone who is not familiar with this culture. In my 20 years in this village I have not seen any kid getting injured.
For them its part of involving the young ones in the religion. Poeple do this ritual if their prayers get answered.
Some people get so hypered up with the whole ritual and go into a kind of trance. Most cases they have no clue they are doing it. Some do it on purpose too.
