I don't think Spurrier was "taking a verbal jab" at Mullen. He just mentioned his name since he happened to park next to Mullen's private jet. Mullen seemed to kind of shrug it off too...but obviously he couldn't help but make some sort of an attempt at a golf joke...
This wasn't a jab as in trying to be ugly. This was all good natured ribbing of each other. All good fun.
