@CarriePoes Try different tactics, focus fire on the waves of minions when they come, get the tanks on melee and ranged on the others, there are many ways to try. Try some combo spells, Morrigan is good at those! Last case, just reduce the difficulty.

So... What's the point with this "No Mage" party? Should it be harder without a mage? U got 3 awesome damage dealers and even shale (which is overpowered anyways) and more than enough health poultices.

@Sterman99 I don't think that much of Shale. She's only there because I wanted to go to her personal quest after taking her to meet Caridin once. I had other companions at the camp who are way better. - But yeah, I've heard so much that "mages are a must, can't play w/out mages, etc" that I started playing w/out them. Used to be harder. (this is not my first non mage party)

Man i get so far into this boss i almost beat her but the DD (Drunken Dwarf) keeps dying easily Im wondering if i should of picked zevran instead of the DD. This game is awesome and i have a question what level should i be before tackling this boss again (im lvl 12)

@crappychicken25 They'll adjust to your level. enemies I mean. So you're challenged no matter your level. Oghren works fine for me, after I invest lots of gold in that ring with +10 CON and a DLC amulet with +12 CON. Dwarves should have lots of HP. It's quite easy to make money for equip with potent mana potion crafting and it's not really a cheat. Takes time, effort and good business sense to do it.

@shemanmegatron In this fight? having a mage in the party makes things easier. If it's a healer with revival, all the better, specially if you don't have a 2 hander with Indomitable who can resist all stun attacks or break the grab by the BM. And you should focus on the minions coming middle fight before re-engaging the mother. My first time with 1st char here was a real pain. it gets better with next chars but reduce diff if it's impossible atm.

@lolopieman124 What's your class? Focus fire on enemies, kill tentacles as soon as they come, hit the boss in the intervals, focus on the minions when they come and finish the boss after.

@Skyrr123 Honestly, they are both fun and very powerful! I'd only suggest 2 daggers for a Rogue because it seems more appropriate to the class and dual daggers speed are the fastest.

Rogues are also fun because you can hide in plain sight (lvl3-4 stealth) and use that to get the upper hand in a fight but this dwarf warrior can kick some serious ass too while hardly taking much damage.

because no darkspawn even on normal dies as fast .. but i think the steam version is bugged i had illegal version so its like retail and it was Alot easier then the steam version :s it sucks -_-"
