Hi, no this has nothing to do with an compressor because a compressor is an audio manipulation. The Effector is for Midi manipulation like Velocity, Pitch, Length..... The Octopus is a perfect Midi Sequencer but has no audio capabilities.

so when you talk about one track effecting another track, could you then set this up as some sort of side chain compression ?, such as the kick effecting the bassline, or is this not possible because that would require some type of audio support within the device..... ??
