I think this is a realy good advert but there are a few things that puzzle me: Why are they falling? & Why does a Silurian's face appear at the end?

@Swordseye It's just meant to be a fantasy scene for the purposes of the trailer and is not meant to be viewed as part of any particular storyline. A 'Doctor and companion in peril' sequence was needed to provide some punch and the ground beneath them being torn apart leaving them falling was just a dramatic way of doing this. As for the Silurian reveal at the end- it was to be the first time they had appeared since the classic series, so it was just to provide a taster for what was to come.

Well, i personally cannot wait for this series (and i'm not dissing David Tennant - i was balling my eyes out even before The End of Time opening credits had finished, never mind "i don't want to go!"). No one is forcing anyone to watch Matt Smith, and i know it has been said before but if you are a proper TRUE fan you will still watch and enjoy it. Ok, i admit my doctor when i was growing up was Sylvester McCoy but i still enjoy his stories, even now!

It's the same as when Eccleston left - everyone thought that Tenant looked like a skinny clown who was ripping off the Fourth Doctor (the coat) and the Fifth (the trainers) and its the same as when McGann was replaced by Eccleston (Eccleston even got death threats) fans for this series are a lot like trekkies and gaters in their inability to accept change that is an important part of the series itself
