lol me and my bro's cried tears of happines the day we beat diablo.all our chars were dead except 4 one who was near dead. he survived by summoning ifrit at the last second who caught the finishing blow from diablo. diablo got killed by ifrit and we were physced only to find out his power wasnt strong enough to even take out a gizard XD. later we understood why but at that momen we were all like da fuq just happend XD.

@JudgeEden Ifrit is better in FF8, same with Shiva, but FF9's Bahamut, Leviathan are hella better. Brothers, Cantuar, Tonberry, Cerberus, Siren, Doom Train are horrible horrible summons. Hate Pademona's design, probably the worst design.

Diablos is infact 1 of my fav summons in any FF ever. And if you are to compare Eden vs Ark, Ark destroys Eden.

I do agree that Leviathan is better in FF9, but I like Bahamut way better in FF8. Nothing can beat that rapid fire shot. And yes, the ones you mentioned, besides Siren and Doom Train weren't that special. Siren is an established FF summon, what else is she supposed to do but make music? Pandemona is one of my favorite GF in the game. And I laugh at Ark comment. Based on substance, Ark is fucking useless. Eden can actually do GOOD damage.

I would really like to know in what way Ark destroys Eden besides aesthetically. All flash, no substance is how you describe Ark. The most useless "ultimate" summon in FF history.

Anima (who is my favorite in all of FF) destroys both though.

@JudgeEden Lmao, Ark's attack is 1 of the most Epic in FF history if you ask me, and it does not hit 100000000000000000000 dmg because the game was designed to have a damage cap, otherwise we would be seeing a line of numbers.

Definitely my favorite Bahamut, though like most FF8 summons, a bit too much filler. A few of the other ones like Shiva and Ifrit are pretty good. Alexander is super-disappointing though. Was always a fan of the one split second tiny beam that blows up the screen. All those missiles for less destructive eye-candy is quite disappointing.

Phoenix - Summoned using a Phoenix Pinion. Use Tonberry's Call Shop ability to call Esthar Shop!!! (Exclamation points a must!) and buy i think its 20 Mega-Phoenix to refine into 1 Phoenix Pinion. Chocobo is summoned after completing the Chocobo Forest Side-Quest, and using a Gysahl Green in battle.

Moomba is summoned using an item also, called "Friendship" Which can be obtained in the Pocketstation. MiniMog can be summoned using the "Mogs Amulet" which i believe is obtained in the Chocobo world

you need solomons ring, found at lunatic pandora site BEFORE you send squall and co into space

then you will need 6 steel pipes, from wendigo's in roshfall forest.

6 malboro tentacles from malboro

and then 6 remedy+ you can get those by using med-lvl up ability, that alexander can learn.

once you have 6 of each of the normal items, just use solomons ring and boom doomtrain is yours.

@Trace3690 The GF's learn the ability called Boost for 10 AP. When the GF has learnt it, hold down select when the GF is being summoned like in the video and there ya go. :)

I just got him like 2days ago. There's a Ruin near Edea's house (the orphanage) It's like 10sec of flying in front of it on land, NOT AT SEA. Your going to see a DIAMOND structure. I think it's called My Blue Heaven. WARNING: once you enter the ruins a 20:00 min timer will start. you have to collect rubies from two statues as you climb up. put both eyes on the top statue for the code, remove eyes and place them on the lower one to enter code and enter Odin's chamber. AND FIGHT!
