I must complain, we were here in January 2010 and we saw trash on this attraction. I mean litter, you NEVER used to see that in years past. Disney needs to add some staff to keep this place spotless like it used to be

I love the Swiss Family Tree House... Some prefer the Tarzan theme of the house better only because it attracts the generation today since thats what everyone knows now... I think most who enjoy the Swiss theme better are an older generation who grew up knowing that... either way love them both! DISNEY RULES!

They have this attraction both in Magic Kingdom and in Disneyland California, both started as Robinson Family Treehouse. After the success of the Tarzan films, the one in California was converted into a Tarzan themed one.

oh, wow, this was probaly one of my favorights when i was there! it was the last thng i was on, and the scenes were so detailed, the people who worked on this payed big attention to detail, Great Walk through Attraction!

False it is still there I do not know where you get that idea from most lickly from Disney land. In Disney World it is still the Swiss Family Treehouse. I love disney and have been there recently and that statment is false.

Yes and No. In Disneyland Swiss Family is now Tarzan's Treehouse. In WDW it is still Swiss Family; which is what this video is - WDW Florida. - - RU

It's nice, but as attractions go, this isn't one of the major ones. Nothing to ride, no animatronics, but a super treehouse. Maybe start the day with this one.

Thanks for posting this. It was always a place I had to check out. I loved the Swiss Family mmovie. All the parks at one point had called it Swiss Family tree House. I hate that they had to change it to TARZAN's treehouse. Long Live the robinsons. They wete the oringinal "SURVIVORS."

I know, they changed the submarine ride, took out skyway and people mover, and Captain EO is gone. What will be next?

I asked a Disney World public relations manager when I was there. He said the submarine ride was people kept getting hurt getting out and in. The sub is now on Disney's island resort in the Bahamas. Skyway was taken out because of an accident where the wires snapped. I don't know if people were hurt but it was deemed unsafe.

Actually, the Skyway was going to be removed due to the fact that it cost a lot to run, plus problems with wheelchair guests. Then an accident occured that resulted in a castmember's death (before park hours the ride was switched on by accident and he was swept off from Fantasyland clutching onto a tub, finally falling from a great hight onto a flowerbed near Dumbo's ride. He died of internal injuries.) This sped up the predicted closing time and was shutdown that day, never to reopen.
