Sorry - this argument is true when it comes to the Iraq war, but you can NOT apply it to Britney. She's been behaving like this long before she even STARTED the CD. I've worked in this biz for many many years... you'll see... she'll do a "tell all" interview the week/night before her CD drops - then she'll go on the talk shows to tell her side of the "mess" and what "really" was going on... and then she'll do a tour. IT doesn't really matter that she sucked--some of the major buyers of her CDs were teenagers and preteens and still ARE, and I'm a teenager. Pretty much everyone I know agrees that we're definitely NOT buying any of her albums. The performance doesn't matter that much when the song is crappy as well.
