Be sure to check out 'Child In Time' from 1994, with Satriani on guitar, and from Bombay 1995 with Steve. Those brilliant guitarist proved there was life after Blackmore threw in the towel. Was the 1995 leg of the 'Battle Rages On' tour, the last time the band did 'Child In Time'?

After 1995 DP stopped playing Child in Time, besides (as far as I know) One small russian leg of the tour in 2002, that's where Don Airey replaced Lord, after that he finally joined permanently. I don't know any other times they did it.

sorry but ian sings incredible, i saw them 3 times in 2 years with the rapture tour and he's voice is still amazing, he is 62 years, he smokes and drink a lot of alcohol since the 80's and he is incredible, that's a real hero

My dear, "Bananas" was DP's most progressive album, that's why it didn't charted.

in 2005 Deep Purple realased "Rapture Of The Deep", which sold more than million copies over the world. That's great number. "Rapture" is their best selling album after 1984 reunion "Perfect Strangers". Deep Purple is goind forward, they are full of life and energy, full of ideas, charisma. So, if you don't like modern dp, it's your problem, not our :)

I bet you can't even play the guitar, so stick your head down the toilet and flush it please. All 4 DP guitarist brought something to the band, Tommy Bolin, Satriani, Blackmore and of course Morse. MK.7 was more successful than the MK.II(c) reunuion in 1993 in therms of selling out venues. Seems like people prefer to see DP with Morse, than with Blackmore, who throws water bottles, is acting like a spoiled little child in stage, refusing to play 'Smoke On The Water' etc.
