Steve Madden tells it like it is - this morning he played some god-awful X-Factor type track and said 'there's four minutes eighteen seconds of our lives we'll never get back!' What a star. I listen every morning online and I don't even live in Berkshire! Radio 2's loss is Berkshire's gain, clearly.
I entered many of his compos but never won a sausage. I don't think he believed my stories about Bebe Daniels signing my penis or that I had a mate called Derek Clapton.
He was the best thing on BBC with a unique sense of fun. For some obscure reason, he even found my name amusing.
Steve should have taken over from Terry Wogan, not knobs like Chris Evans. He was that hypnotic, that i listened till 1am in Holland(problem was i had to get up at 5.30am).
Just to let you know that Steve is aware of this posting and the previous one, and that he is chuffed that there is something on Youtube that is paying tribute to his talent. He was very kind to send me some signed pics too.
Steve is a class act, why is he not on National Radio?

I am surprised Bebe signed for you, was there enough room for a dedication?

Its a crying shame that Steve Madden has not been on national radio of late. Steve, you should be back in the big time mate!
