I'm reminded Of Manson ranch hand Shorty Shei who went missing and they found his body 10 years later at the bottom of 200 foot high cliff. Also the Manson lawyer who was killed and buried at one of the properties. They probably lost count of how many they killed.

Fascinating report. On my visit to the ranch I had heard these same rumors from fellow visitors. I discounted it...but maybe ther eis something to it. If you are at all interested check out the footage I have from the ranch.

Thanks Bretg78! I would like to visit Goler Wash and spend a night at Barker ranch before I pass or before the cabin is totally recaptured by nature. As for the furnishings,only a couple are left from the Manson days,it was re-furnished by rangers and other for use as a stopover or overnight camping spot. From what I gather(not 100 percent sure)the wood burning stove and one or two other items were there when Charlie and the gang stayed there. Hopefully,I can visit one day soon.

I agree. If there's any chance at all that somebody could be burried there, I'm certain that people would volunteer their time to help dig just to try and come to some kind of closure. As for the Inyo Cty Sheriffs dept, it's their duty to investigate leads. How can they ignore this? Common sense gets lost whenever money is involved so chances are someone is playing this up for own personal interests. Just grab a shovel and knock it off already. DIG !!

I agree. I don't understand why they wouldn't dig where the dogs keep indicating there may be bodies. I would be happy to go up there and help dig the graves for FREE, and so would a lot of people. It wouldn't cost them anything but a background check on the people that are volunteering....something is amidst with this refusal to dig situation.
