  • my father just got us one and it came with 2 mags its a nice 45

  • Y didn't they do a one piece guide rod and recoil spring like on the p95? Would've been nice

  • Post a video on breaking down the top slide to it's pin! I only seen p90 ruger video's on breaking down the top slide to it's pin... Some one needs to make a video on breaking down the top slide to it's pin on a p345....

  • Fast I have the same pistol and love it as far as glock goes everyone that I tested has jammed several times and they lack safety features like Ruger offers and does feel like a block .check out my vids I just went out shooting today and we also had an ak47 that was fun but it needed cleaning badly lol but fun

  • nice piece :D im an XD .45 ACP man my self, guess ill have to post a field strip vid as well, it hadnt crossed my min till now... my vid will prob be a lil shorter since mine only breaks down into four pieces and no buffer spring hanging out of the slide all willy nilly...

  • @413gogetter yea, probably right. I didn't want to take the spring completely out because it was seated rather nicely. XD's are very nice weapons.

  • Good field strippin brother!

  • @TerryLeonard12 thanks

  • I haven't seen the case on the sr1911

I say to really sell it

It should be either an old school wood case with the Phoenix on it

Or a pkg deal like the XdM series

Step it up to standout in the over growing 1911 market

  • @satchboogyfan I agree, they do make great guns, but there are soo many 1911's out ther, they should do something to stand out a bit

  • @wookerton

Yep I saw Jeff @ gunblasts review

    Looks cool

    My only 1911 is a Para 14-45

I'm a old school American ( more is better)

Ruger followed the trend with a 17rd 9mm

    and now a 15rd 40cal

A 13rd 45acp should be just around the corner

But it could be a while since they just jumped in the 1911 club on the 100yr anniversary

  • I love my rugers

But why won't they make a double stack 45

    I too own a G21

    And a SR9 -17rd+1

    and just purchased a SR40 -15rd+1

    If you build it

    I will buy it

  • @satchboogyfan have you seen the new ruger 1911? its pretty sweet lookin, as all 1911's are. I think if ruger made a double stack .45 you would need ginormagantuan hands to grip it properly. Not a problem in my case, but none the less I think they should look into it.

  • i too have a glock 21 sf or should i say block 21 its too blocky my ruger p345 feels way better in my hand and its been a good shooter

  • when the slide is retracted and locked, do you have any play in your barrel? is that normal?

  • @edmvnd as with any gun, if the tolerances are so tight that when the slide is back and locked and you dont have a lil play, the gun might very well not cycle properly. Yes there is a little play, and yes it is normal, when the slide is locked back that is. When the slide is forward, there is no play at all, it feels as if it has been welded. That is ideal for any auto pistol. You dont want any play when the slide is forward, and a lil play when the slide is locked back.

  • @edmvnd i can assure you that it is a great pistol, and to this day, has never malfunctioned, with the acception of the new mag that i mention in a previous comment. Thanks for watching, hope this helps.

  • question??? how does the 345 compare to the glock??? i just dont like the way the glock feels.. the ruger feels more comfy to me.. i really do like it.

  • @whb1965 in all honesty i can only tell you that I have held a glock, never fired one. A buddy of mine however really prefered the P345 to the glock because he Did like the grip better, and he Did say he was a fan of the trigger pull compared to the glock. Im sorry I cant honestly say more. but I do hope this helps. I know that in my comparison of grips and weight, I much preferred the P345 to the glock.

  • @wookerton he also mentioned that even though glock has a great track record, he thought it felt a little chincy in his hand compared to the ruger (talking of the glock 17). Hope that helps, thanks for the comment.

  • i have the same gun...and tatts too! its an epidemic!!! runnnnnnnn!!!!!! good vid and nice clean break down-re-assembly. smooth. p3-45 is a great handgun.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ it is an epidemic!! Thanks for the comment. Great gun.

  • @wookerton - do you have problems with your last round jamming at all? i always think its because i need to break my weapon in more. about 5-700 rounds later, still having the same problem. clean it after every shoot too. wondering if others are having the same problems with their P-345. Thanks

  • @blogsdo12 I have never had that problem. I mostly cleaned mine after every shoot, but sometimes would clean it after every other shoot. The only issue I ever came across was an extra ruger mag that i bought, it had trouble locking the slide back on the last round, I corrected this by spreading the follower apart to a slightly wider angle so it would put the pressure needed on the slide stop pin. Yours probably just needs a couple more rounds put through it. I hope that helps.

  • @blogsdo12 i have never had any issues with my p-345..not one. ive owned it for about 4 years now. believe it or not i even killed a wild boar with it!! might be your magazine. ive shot my p3 dirty as hell just to test it and no issues.

  • @wookerton yeah dogg I had to watch the shit again and you right 30 flat so it really tells me you can bust a cap in 15 secs. Feel sorry for any sucka commin yo way lol! my boy wook!

  • OMG a gun and a guy with tattoos ! Someone call the police and have him arrested immediately !! haha

  • @mixwell1983 OH SHIT! Where?!? Where is he? Whered he go?

  • @wookerton - I don't know I saw him a few moments ago in the video.. We need to be alert incase he tries to attack us ^_^.. seriously man there are some ignorant people out there..

  • @mixwell1983 Im well aware, I hate it when old folks ask "how could you do that to yourself?" its more like like "how could you ask such a question you bitch?" Im glad you at least have a sense of humor. I hate ignorance with a passion, and when someone thinks theyre better than you. Its hard not to smack them in the face.

  • @wookerton - I know there were old navy dudes that were fully sleeved back in the navy days so I don't know why people act like OMG WTF is that.. Glad you like the p345 dude, on Thursday I pay off my Glock 22 and I cannot wait to get it !!

  • Damn dogg u did that shit in like 90secs flat now that's what I'm talkin bout! Lets me further know you can bust a cap in somebody's ass in about 30 flat!!!!

  • @bigwoo49 well, not to brag, lol, but the actual break down and reassembly starts at 0.39 sec. in. so the whole break down and reassembly was only about 30 sec. Thanks for noticing tho. I appreciate the comment.

  • Hahahaha... I laughed my ass off at this... I was searching this exact gun as an Airsoft gun... I need to buy one :D...

Well, once he pulls the slide back and the innocent little bullet comes rolling out, I was like, "Holy fuck!"

  • @tylorh26 :D I think that's awesome. what did you think of the video, even though it's not an airsoft though?

  • @wookerton It does look like a toy, but I assure it's not. :)

  • @tylorh26 - I wouldn't consider a .45 acp a "little bullet" dude.. If it were a .22 , .25acp or .32 I could understand.. A .45 is pretty hefty hunk of metal being slung when fired !!

  • pretty gun. reminds me of mu p95. i want one.

  • @mycrx89 you wont be sorry if you ever get around to owning one.

  • @LoversFashion if you're really that close minded about something like that, I have severe doubts about your ability to put enough effort into anything, enough so that you can enjoy it. Your loss.

  • @LoversFashion: I too, have noticed that thugs usually buy Ruger Semi-automatics in either 9mm or .45 acp. Curious, huh? Also, what is so "close minded" about objective observations. Here is another one.......they tend to jump, ruger-in-hand and all, when I fire my .357 MAGNUM at the range.

  • @EL3minutero- If ,which I don't know where you get your facts on thugs USUALLY buying rugers, you notice that then I would say it is because the price because they're a lot cheaper than glocks and other competitors.. If anything (which I've seen on some stupid Steven Seagull show I've seen more than 1 highpoint in there. Thugs by cheap guns b/c they're "throw away guns" Don't if you are bein sarcastic on Lovers comment so if so then I apologize for my reply but Ruger makes nice revolvers !!

  • @mixwell1983 cheaper whatttttttttt, down here in Tampa Fl you can buy a glock 21 for $499.00 brand new, the Ruger P345 sales for right under $600.00. Glocks are very cheap down here in florida but for some reason the glock table is always empty.

  • @235orly - Damn are you serious bro ? The P345 is about $450 down here and the Glock 21 ON SALE is like $539 ($599 regular).. Well it's a weekly sale but here is a different comparison.. The Ruger p95 is on sale for $319 right now on their list and even a glock 17/19 on sale is like $539 at this specific gun shop chain.. I think those Ruger p95 and p345s are beautiful guns but I own a 9mm (taurus pt92) 1911 and soon Glock 22 so I'm good on caliber but Id love to get a Ruger someday.

  • @LoversFashion - Your comment is soo idiotic its funny.. Ruger is a very reputable gun manufacturer and personally (off topic) I don't see why they sell their p345 and 9mm soo much less than say Glock, Taurus, Beretta etc (I'm guessing because they focuse more on rifles) but judging a firearm by someone's appearance that is reviewing the firearm is just stupid and unrelated to the firearms reliability itself. Like the poster said though it is your loss because I hear good things about the P345

  • @mixwell1983 The P345 is a great gun. Ive put thousands of rounds through it and never had a miss feed, or jam or anything like that. The only issue I ever came across was with an after market magazine, It didn't lock the slide back after the rounds were complete. It happened twice. Then I bent the follower just a bit and it never happened again. Thanks for the comments.

  • @LoversFashion Definitely a LOGICAL reason to not buy, so many "rough-looking dudes" with tattoos and piercings that review the gun.

    Idiot...

The gentleman that reviews the P345 on the Ruger website isn't rough looking, and doesn't have ANY tats or piercings, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind giving you a .45 caliber piercing so you could join in on the excitement .

Have fun shooting your Red Rider BB gun, only pretty, un-pierced, un-tatted ppl shoot those...Like Ralphy

  • @jjarv001

I made that "tattooed and pierced" observation when I was searching for a sidearm for my day job. I've recently discovered that Massad Ayoob used to carry a Ruger gun, and I have since changed my opinion about Rugers. I went out and bought a p95, and I actually like it. So for the sake of Ruger's name and reputation, I'll delete those old comments I made. Thanks for posting :)

  • @LoversFashion OIC, Ya I hope I don't carry the same gun as Massad Ayoob. That would be dissapointing.

  • @jjarv001

Was that bad English, or just poor comprehension of my comment?

  • How do you like it compared to other polymer framed .45s ??

  • @Nicho2177 its like butta. The recoil is excellent and it feels great in my hand. I even have big hands and it fit real nice. Real smooth action too.

  • Is that a real gun?

  • absolutely. .45 ACP

  • good video man straight to the point ..........

  • thanks, twas my goal.

  • Great Gun

  • indubidubly

  • I do, just be sure t get jacketed hollow points if you can. i have found that federal hydrashocks feed flawlessly. I mean gold dots will obviously penetrate, but if its a brown bear i would go for lethality over penetration, hydrashocks are proven to have both. im actually from edmonton, alberta, but live in arizona. :)

  • I have had my ruger for a lil over a year now, Ive put over a thousand rounds through it, I can honestly say, i have anever had a jam, its never not fired, it is a solid gun. for the price, i dont think you can go wrong. I will be putting a video up about the holster i found for it. Its a leather wet molded holster for concealment. The combination of the two means I can carry everyday in comfort. I love this gun.
