I will not presume to comment on American politics, the war or whatever. Rather, just this video. It is well scripted, she knew the questions beforehand and is too relaxed. She has also been well schooled - posture, the look in the eye, calling the interviewer 'Charlie', references to troops fighting overseas, emphasis with hand gestures and so on.

She has also been well schooled - posture, the look in the eye, calling the interviewer 'Charlie', references to troops fighting overseas, emphasis with hand gestures and so on.

Obama has never put anything through in legislation, he just voted in the Senate. And he voted I believe 180 times, 133 times were just present votes. Except for the SB 1661 Born Alive Infant Protection Package, which lets infants die with no medical help after a botched abortion. I'm sorry but the dem's have way more earmarks and congress has passed them way more then Alaska or any other state. I'm not happy with any of my choices, but I have to say, I don't believe in anything being "just plain fact". There are always nuances, be it with Palin, McCain, Obama or Biden. Frankly, I don't like any of them. It's a pity we don't have a viable third party that actually does what it says and worries about the country instead of their own political careers.

Not nonsense at all. Read his book and you will see in his own words that he was frustrated that everything he attempted did nothing for his people. They are still a poor group and many of his apartment complexes have been shut down do to construction problems and other terrible conditions.

Being a mayor is executive experience. The last time I checked mayor, governor and president are executive positions. Senator is not an executive position. It never was and never will be.

The question was to Palin not having experience, not McCain. You are twisting the issue. The point is McCain has been around a long time and thus has a ton more experience than Obama. Obama has been in the senate for 184 days. As for understanding international policy, I beg to differ. Obama was wrong on the surge. He wanted to cut and run and fail in Iraq. And he was wrong on Georgia, finally changing his position and putting out a statement like McCain had done three days earlier.

Many people feel the same on some issues. The war is backed by the gop. McCain wanted the surge and Bush went along with it. McCain did not go along with Bush. He had the solution before Bush did.
And what is wrong with tax cuts? I have benifited from them the past seven years. When Clinton was in office I payed a ton more in taxes. Obama is suggesting a trillion dollars in new spending if he is elected. That money will come in the form of higher taxes from people like me. Unacceptable.

Obama is not a socialist. That statement is completely without truth. His policies do tend to have the government control the free market, a bit more. However, I find much contention with the idea that the market fixes everything - it doesn't, or did you miss the housing crisis.
Moreover, one of the purposes of government is to change the structure of our market when it becomes bad for the majority of people.
Well, at least that is what is suppose to happen.
