  • Juan is John in English. Like John the Baptist. Probably (historically) what this name refers to vis a vis conversion to Christianity. Nothing to be ashamed about at all-in my opinion. She is a gorgeous beautiful woman/person. All Hispanic people who comment-please don't make your comments with profanity as it reinforces the stereotypes that the uninformed prejudice people are looking for. There are bad and good people in every race!!!

  • Juan love (one love) this is good humor nothing more....pull the stick out ya ass haters

  • I don't get it. What's so racist about Juan.

  • @ Anjelah Johnson, are you Hispanic or Mexican decent? just curiosity!

  • @Coxfame. She's a Mexican-American and Native-American.

  • I'm not Juan....

  • No one understands racism claiming that this is. You can be racist "IF" you are a part of that same group. No one claims racism on rap. I just don't see how TC is some beer summit with all races, sex age, sex, religions, sex etc blah blah blah. Way too much set-up for that one line. She is cute enough that I wasn't mad at the commercial as a whole. (PS: My whole comment is a joke)

  • @consemo you're a terrible pun at the end.

  • yes that was a terrible pun at the end.

  • cute! the tacos look good too

  • Tbh taco cabana is already being racist when it comes to it's food. Just because it's a taco doesn't mean it's MEXICAN. It may taste good (sometimes), but it isn't Mexican food.

  • But guys.. who really CARES? It's really not horribly racist.

I know like 10 mexicans that would laugh at that. I also know about 10 mexicans. The fact of the matter is that this commercial is funny.

  • We are all Juan?!? VERY RACIST AND STEREOTYPICAL...BAD IDEA

  • @rg6677 yeah the more realistic joke is that 90% of your women are named Maria

  • @UnlimitedProdiction1 The fact that you use the term "your women" is just as racist as this ad. I could not find any information to substantiate your percentage of women named Maria. So please reply back with information as to where you found this or quit talking out of your a**

  • @rg6677 maybe you should try talking outta your ass more often...it's fun and much better than letting everything you hear and/or read go up your tight ass

  • @UnlimitedProdiction1 Juan Love One heart....everyone is family to me and as family I'm saying you chill out before you realize you've wasted your time complaining about shit that never gets solved the way you're going about

  • I do not believe that this ad passed to production. "We are all Juan" ? You may as well revive the Frito Bandito. We are not "All Juan". The pun is a racist, prejudicial, just plain bad statement. Awful. This ad will probably be challenged by LULAC, La Raza, & any other anti-defamation group. Unbelievable. Are there no Latinos working in the corporate advertising level? Were focus groups not used? Were there no Latinos in these focus groups? Kill the ad.

  • @prdad007 Completely agree! I posted these concerns on TC's Facebook wall, and of course, they were deleted. There's also the ad where the spokesgirl says "Just like being in Mexico, only you can drink the water." Maybe it's part of Anjelah Johnson's stand-up where stereotypes are expected, but it doesn't belong in mass media. Bradford Lawton is the agency that produced this. It's shameful
